I think its hilarious when people act terrified that a gay person might find them attractive. Is it that horrible of a concept? Isn't it the same, if not as bad, as an unattractive and obnoxious person of the opposite sex likes you?
I've never had a man like me, but I've had an obese obnoxious woman semi stalk me. That's horrible.

Homosexuality and golf are very much the same. Both are just contests to see how many strikes it takes to sink it in the hole.
lmao, now that is sig material. congrats you've been sigged. :)

Sure, they're different but only when it comes to their sexuality. They deserve rights like every other human being.

No, I don't think finding other men attractive for a guy is any more right than for a 40-year-old man to be aroused by 8-year-old girls.
The difference is the 40 year old man prob wants to rape the girls........

I completely took the first bit the wrong way.
"I've never HAD a man like me" lol.

I bet you like lesbians though, well not the butch ones*shudder*.

I bet some girls like seeing gays, if there the prettyboi type gays.

Yeah but "like" and "stalk" are two completely different things.

Homosexuality = Sex between two consenting adults.
Paedophilia = The rape of a minor.

You really don't see the difference?

Beautifully put. Absolutely wonderful.

 There was this butch, short, bisexual girl at my work a while back, she was obsessed with touching my muscles which was slightly worrying.

She used to boast about stories of getting into fights :O

I don't like scary women.

I'm fine with homosexuality. If some guy is attracted to me, I'm gonna be flattered, not creeped out. Homophobia is of the same grain as racism, just more widespread and (for the most part) much less intense.

were you afraid she might turn you into a lesbian?

I'm a lesbian ..no really, trapped in a man's body

All girls are bi anyways :p.
It's true. I saw it in movies. Also, when girls are alone, they all touch each other in places. I feel sure that those movies were documentaries. Edutainment is what it is.

I like the military's policy - "Don't ask, don't tell"

Works well for a lot of things

Gays, bis, whatever you'd like to call them. Well they're people too. I have this very close friend who happens to be bi(and proud of it), and do I think any less of her? Of course not. And the irony of it all? Her last name being Gay.

See I get bothered when someone is 'proud of it.'

I mean what the hell. If they say it's something they don't choose, then why proud? It's not like a group or club or nation or something where you choose to support it or be proud.

PROUD TO BE STRAIGHT!!!

Um no just am.

Here's a pet peeve of mine:

The term homosexual isn't used exclusively for men! There are these things called "women" that can be gay, too!

What are your opinions on them?

I mean, it seems to me that everyone's biggest problem with gays is two guys making out and having buttsecks. Makes guys uncomfortable. Scared. Most cultures don't accept that craziness!

In the other hand, at least in the US, lesbian porno is all OVER the place. For men. Men don't have to be afraid of that!

Everything is curved toward the frightened "hetero" man.

When gays say that they are "Proud!" it means that they are not "Ashamed!" like most cultures want them to be. They are open about it when proud instead of secretive and scared.

One of my friends is gay, and we never knew. Then he moved in as a rommate of one of my other friends. Then we found out he was gay. Then we found out he had the hots for my friend that he moved in with.

Needless to say that ended like shit when he found out.

Stupid question. Okay so somebodies gay...but to become gay..doesn't that mean they would've had to have been like *penis inserted into ass* "Wow.. i actually ENJOY this! " ???

ALso another stupid question. I know not everyone, but why does it seem the majority of gay men have high pitched voices?

naww, I think it's moer like, "why do I get this funny-feeling everytime I'm near this guy? do I LIKE him?" and etc.

I dunno, maybe they do that on purpose? I actually can't think of any gay people I know with high-pitched voices... but I only know one, so meh.

look there's people like this that would sooner see you dead than acknowledge that you have a right to exist if you so happen to be gay.

Being proud of being gay is like saying "despite that I will be persecuted,, despite the fact that I will be hated, I am proud of who I am"

if you cant understand that you'll never understand a fundamental part of what makes us human

See, to me it's just a subject that you don't go around proclaiming. If it's asked, sure- answer and be real about who you are. But it just doesn't seem right to me to go around proclaiming that out. Gay, straight, bi, or whatever, if someone didn't ask why are you bugging them with it?

It's their right to, it's just something that you don't do that with is all, at least to me.

IS it possible that you have self-esteem problems? I'm not trying to attack you. I'm just trying to see why you don't think it's right.

Hehe no, I'm a quite confident person and very social. It's just not something that's appropriate to be out proclaiming, whether it be "I LOVE WOMEN" or "I LOVE MEN."

There's a good example at my school. A couple gay people there.

One was (graduated) VERY flaming. It was quite annoying, always with the rainbow suspenders and talking about his gayness. I don't really care, it's not disgusting me or anything but why do it?

The one, everyone knows he's gay so he's not hiding it or not telling people or anything, but he just acts normal. If someone were to ask him if he's gay, he'd be like "yep." It's just not an issue.

Guess who ends up dealing with a lot more shit? The oddball one.
Guess who ends up with a perfectly normal life right now? The one who doesn't STRIVE to be different. It's good to be an individual, but damn there are some things where it's good to be like everyone else.

I guess it's moreso the ones who act like Brandon (the first example I gave) rather than being proud per say. It's just saying "proud to be gay" reminds me of that sort of thing and gay pride parades. Not someone who's proud of themselves and such, which is a good thing.

It isnt that it is ethically or religiously wrong, but it is biologically and instinctively unnatural. Our bodies were made to have intercourse with the other sex, that is why there is a distinct difference between the two. Being gay is violating the natural order of things, and it is going against every human/sexual instinct hardwired into us. IT IS JUST WRONG!

Gay rhymes with OK so it must be so!

Although in the Bible it's Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve...

Wow what a paradox this presents.

The irony of someone using the same arguement as Alan Partridge endlessly amuses me!

Ehh...this thread is going to hell. Mostly because of Lou and his crazy ignorant statements.

Im assuming im one of the few who voted "wrong" that are tolerant of homosexuals.

I'm sorry, I may be missing something - are gay people coming up to you in the street, saying "Hello! I'm gay!" and giving you a pamphlet or something?

The idea of "proclaiming it" (by which I assume you mean gay pride festivals?) is simply a part of saying "This is who I am and, despite the negative reactions I may receive, I am not ashamed of this."

If I'm not very much mistaken, here in old Blighty, it was never illegal for two women to get it awwwn, as it was with the menfolk. This was, I believe, due in part to Queen Victoria's refusal to believe that women had any sort of sex drive.

You poor guy! Oh wait, here's another.

I think being gay is okay. (omg it rhymes!!!!!!!) I have two friends that are gay. I do feel a little uncomfortable around one of those two though. (I've got a good reason) but otherwise I really dont care what someones sexual preferences are.

Frankly I don't give a damn which way i come out.

Here's a hint for you: not giving a damn 'which way you come out' means you are gay.

Mostly I prefer women

Mostly preferring women, as opposed to solely prefering women, means you are gay.

but I find it annoying when my freinds get hate mail, just because they prefer to "cuddle up" with the same sex.

Here's another hint for you: having gay friends means you are gay.

Ok, not really, but I figured I'd say that just to annoy you :)
Now, do I sound like a homophobe?

I know some gay dudes, that are super buff.. can kick your ass and buttrape you and in the end make it seem that you are the gay one.

I know, that's why you too should be afraid of them.
