GTA IV Trailer coming March 29!!!

Maybe because animals in general have a lower intelligence than most humans, and thus usually don't have as much ability to fend for themselves, some sick snobb **** over here in Sweden a few months ago were convicted for animal cruelty, he filmed it and put it on youtube, he and a few mates were at his barn that his parents own, they took the stable cat, threw it into the air, shotguned it, then again, then they picked up the corpse and threw it around, sick mother****ers make me wish I had a desert eagle to blow their brains out.
Wow, I wish I hadn't read that as cats are my favorites. I wish you would have had a deagle too--would've made the world a better place (despite what my sig might say :)).

PC has usually been released the following summer, however that was in the days of Sony exclusivity.

I'm more interested in what the downloadable content will be like. While it's been confirmed that the 360 and PS3 will get downloadable content, it's going to be platform exclusive. It could just be that the PC will get both and therefore the best of both worlds.

Or... it could be that the PC won't get any of them.

Considering it's being made for the 360 I would imagine it would be easily portable to the PC.

Mod's are made for GTA on the Pc. So even if they don't even give us the downloadable content, we will have Mods.

Yeah, that it a possability, it didn't get the two Stories games that were released recently.

Plus mods are often far better than any downloadable content (usually).

And I can't imagine R* would be so stupid as to include new cars and outifts and such to the downloadable content--it should actually be worth something so the idea of whole new 'episodes' would be a great place to start, but does that mean downloadable missions? Would you guys pay for that? I am pretty certain I wouldn't at this point but I would have to see it first to be sure.

I just hope they don't slack on the games content expecting they can do the rest of the work on episodes.

Aww man I never understood why they always released the PC version a year later. They should be large enough by now to have a second team working simultaneously on the pc version. BLEH...

still the pc version is always worth waiting, updated graphics + user created content support + fast loading

It depends how many missions. For example, the new Oblivion expansion is 30/40 + hours, so I see that as something I would probably end up buying (I'm just skint at the moment :p) So the content would have to be on par with that, only in GTA terms. Like 20/30 missions, but nothing lackluster and deffinatly varied, aswell as upgrading flaws as they go.

Well, considering the previous GTA games were primarily made for PS2, updated graphics for them weren't surprising, in most cases the XB version looked the same as the PC one only with a lower res ofcourse, I'm not entirely sure things will be the same this gen.:p

I think GTA is pretty much the only game that would interest me in downloadable content, as long as it was significant. New cities are obvious, but even new mission sets or game changing features would be worthwhile. I wouldn't buy a weapons or vehicle pack though, that's the kind of nickel and diming bullshit reserved for XB Live customers :p .

Wow, can you get any stupider?

"In previous incarnations, players advanced through the game by killing cops, selling pornography to children and killing prostitutes. Details of the latest version have not been released."

sigh...

Well, it does support killing Police personel. I mean, on the whole the Police force is portrayed very badly throughout the GTA series.

So actually I think it's perfectly reasonable for the mayor to say such a thing.

So what? It's ONE video game and there have been millions of movies where cops get shot by the bad guys, where people shoot hookers, where people rape women, where people torture other people, etc...

GTA is just the scapegoat for these ****s who still live in the fifties.

^^ The Truth.

In Sam's eternal words,

You crack me up little buddy!

Yes but those generally aren't the protagonists, like in GTA. Also, the fact that the player of the game is doing it himself, wanting to do it, as opposed to watching it, makes it miles different as well.

Man thats awsome if this game is coming out this year! That means....

1.Crysis
2.GTA 4
3.Alan Wake
4.The darkness
5.Dark sector
6.Assasins Creed

I'll be getting a ps3 soon cause i want to play GOd of war 1 and 2.

Man can you amagine god of war 3 on the ps3. mmmmm yummy. :)

Yeah, but he wasn't all like ?MG WTF GTA IS T3H INSULTING MA CITIES11!1!!!!!!

The reporter was just like "So, the next GTA is set in what looks like New York" and he was like "Yeah, that's the game where you kill cops, right? We don't like people killing cops."

Pretty much everything else was added.

People do realize that you get punished for killing cops (via the "wanted" system), right?

God I hate reporters.

This is why video games need to be classified as art. Sometimes the game design decisions super cede political decisions. For example, I've heard people complain that there isn't a harsh enough penalty for doing the crimes you commit in the game... It's just an example of where the game takes away your weapons and some cash and starts you over. It doesn't start you back off at square one. People outside the games industry tend to view GTA as some sort of real-life simulator rather than a game.. And if people really believe real-life is accurately portrayed in the game, and thus there needs to be accurate consequences for your character, may Gordon Freeman beat them with a rusty crowbar because that's just a sad world they think they live in.

One word; BRIBES.

I knew they over simplified, exaggerated, bent the truth and spread misinformation... but they ACTUALLY made something up completely now.

There arnt even children in any of the games...

Haha, I noticed that as well... wtf?

So? It still presents cops in a rather horrible light. It's not exactly going to please everyone for a politician to be all "Yeah, I embrace this game, you can kill cops and they're portrayed as bribe-taking bastards, too!"

I know it's a game, and they know it's a game. What's your point?

The point is they're using rockstar as a scapegoat when there are bigger problems and other causes. They don't know it's a game, they think it's the devil's work.
