sorry if this similar has already been posted. But just wanted to let you guys know if it hasn't. it's a bit early, and I'm having quite a hard time keeping myself from looking at the full-color strategy guide!

The hat is cool, I do like it. Was sortof disappointed there was no metal box, and/or actual CD's ofthe game inside.

About to listen to the soundtrack CD though, while I play some WoW.

I got mine on Tuesday the 9th, but I live pretty close to Valve so that's understandable. Enjoy that soundtrack, it's great. I've been listening to it for hours and hours and I like it more every time.

The collector's box isn't metal but it's still nice and great for... collecting. And of course the hat, posters, and guide are well worth the Gold price. If I could do it over, there's no doubt I'd buy Gold again.

Not positive on this but I think I've received FedEx packages on Saturday before. They don't ship on Sunday, however.

Well that's pretty cool, I wish I had the soundtrack. I ALWAYS find myself desperately trying to download ALL the tracks to games that I like (Command & Conquer / Red Alert, Ocarina of Time, Goldeneye, the original HL, etc etc)

Well, yeah, got it today. T3h rox0rz. Read some of the guide, the very first section of the first mission guide, the part that was already spoiled to me thanks to oldfag..er..faq.

Only thing in the Gold edition that may be worth any kind of money is the Prima guide and even then I would only read it if I had completed the game and couldn't find a newspaper to read on the loo.

(You can tell I think it is a waste of money - my opinion only of course so I don't put down anyone else's decision to purchase it )
