Guy drowns himself- is it really art?

Dude... this is not needed here. This is something that can be seen on ogrish or something.

EDIT:Only saw first 30 sec of it and got disgusted. :(

They could get £250 if they send that to You've Been framed

Me, American, is not too sure on what television show that is.

I watched it, it's very timmeh. No it's not art, it's just stupid. And that's the gayest mustache I've seen in a long time!

Stupid idiot, if he does all that just to call it 'art' then I wish he would have fully drowned.

:LOL::LOL:

I'm not watching the video, don't want to be scarred for life.

Damn, he's pretty crazy. Wow...

How the guy ends up in the video:

He did not die. Just when he went unconscious, his friends got him out and reanimated him.

Lol, just watched it, what an idiot.

Couldn't help laughing when he gagged though

Pretty scary. The tension I felt waiting for him to try to breathe... It took longer than I thought, so I was like "ooooomg when is it going to happen" *cursor on the close button*

It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be though. Call me sick, but it's pretty interesting how instincts take over even when you try to stop them.

Exactly what I thought. It was pretty amazing to see him trying to get some air, even with this big huge cement block on him.

ROFL!! I know this is probably very serious, I was just watching it (Found it pretty boring and stupid myself) then he goes unconcious, some reason I flicked my mouse around and all of a sudden this Jamster ad starts going "FOLLOW MEEEEE." really loud in the silence while his friends drag him out.

He can hold his breath muuuuch longer than me as well. Maybe I just have small lungs.

yeah the tension is crazy. you go mad waiting for him to start gasping.

its not art, its stupidity

as such im sure the turner prize will end up going to him this year, as is its way, to give the prize to anything that isn't art (which i guess is the new art)

I wouldn't consider that art. However, there are some out there that would. Strange.

I've seen a lot worse though. Curiosity almost always gets the best of me.

i don't want to watch it because i've learnt in the past from watching other sick videos...and they just do nothing for me except leave me disturbed for about a week

huh, well, i;ve definitely seen far worse, especially some of those beheading videos, but this just seemed extremely pointless and dumb, anybody who wants to do this for the sake of art, well... maybe his friends shouldn;t have saved him
and his friends, what the hell kinda friends just sit there and watch one of their friends drown like that, he's got some weird ass buddies

Umm... That was the whole point... :|

this art does drown.

what follows...

I'm impressed they managed to get a cement block from City 17 area...but personally, to be quicker, I'd have used the zero point energy emitter to first pull the block off then suck his body out of the tub.

I'm amazed how calm his friends were.

Loved the drowning reflex as he tried to get air

When he introduced the video, he looked a bit mentally retarded... maybe the oxygen deprevation brain damaged him? Although he probably already had something wrong with him if he thought drowning was a good idea.

Kirovman, one would assume he did that little speech before he did the drowning. Ya know, seeing as it's that way in the video.

Meh, nothing as bad as I thought it would be.

I was expecting more of a struggle for air though, but he just was out like a light.

Oh well, definatly wasnt art. Nothing artsy about it.

But he's narrating the video. In the past tense.

Well he would have probably done it with or without them, so I guess they figured they should be there to help him.

How far will people go to make art into some kind of giant publicity stunt?

Its not what arts about, a 40W light bulb or a cat taking a shit, is not art.

Contempory modern BS.

That wasn't disturbing at all. I think it was pretty boring actually

What if he drew the Mona Lisa...WHILST drowning!?! :O:O:O
Would it be artsy then? ;)

Call me crazy, but I thought that was beautiful.

I was being serious. Ever read/watch Fight Club?
"It isn't until you've lost everything until you're free to do anything."

Just let go. Love it.

He wasn't letting go, he didn't intend to die. It was controlled, but meant to look like it wasn't.

I think it's stupid.
