Guy drowns himself- is it really art?

He wasn't letting go, he didn't intend to die. It was controlled, but meant to look like it wasn't.
Ha! Alright man, you go ahead and do that in as controlled a situation as possible and see if you don't freak out and bail at the last second.

I was being serious. Ever read/watch Fight Club?
"It isn't until you've lost everything until you're free to do anything."

Just let go. Love it.

I have seen fight club literally 11 times. You seem to understand the quote a wee bit but it totally has nothing to do with this guy drowning himself. Tyler Durden LET GO of the steering wheel, he did not grab it and intentionally steer the car into a semi! Big difference.

This was a stupid ****ing video, the guy is a damn idiot. Its not art at all whatsoever.

It proves my point that I seriously believe that 99% of humans on this Earth could not intentionally drown themselves without an outside force.

What a moron. And what if he died? Who would be held responsible?

He should get up and do it again before I call it art.

Isn't that a trick that Navy Seals have to do? You have to officially drown and be resuscitated as one of the drills so you are very familiar with how long you can hold your breath? (somebody please confirm or deny this for me). This reminds me of the old Loony Tunes cartoons where Daffy Duck would try to one-up Bugs Bunny on stage. He could never do it except for his one, ultimate trick where he would drink some awful elixir and die. It was funny because he was being stupid, and I guess this is funny for the same reason.

That guy was stupid....
The movie wasn't bad or anything, atleast, intill he was unconcionus... that was a little disturbing

so he drowns himself and call it ar?

this ge the WTF? award of the day

This is why no one likes art anymore. Pretentious self-serving bullshit

Well he is killing his brain cells each time he does that, I guess some people have more the just time on there hands.

I think he thinks that he has more braincells than he needs, which he does. Or did?

Some people do just about anything for attention...

And the moral is - nothing can stop your survival instinct (he tried to get up and get some air) except for a cinder block.

You know, I think to be an artist you first need to produce some good work before you can go around doing crazy things.

Example Van Gogh cut his ear off, but he didn't do that until he had produced some masterpieces.

Some people just want all of the fame and glory, with none of the effort. Slackers.

What would possess a person to go to the point of drowning themselves and then call it art?

We need a new word. Art encompasses too much these days.
"I'm a stupid shit who drowns himself"?
