Half-Life 2 Rated 95% in Hyper magazine and awesome new screenshots inside

It's not a thing.. imo it's a bunch of zombies hung up above the fire. 4 - 5 zombies i guess.

actually yer that could make sense... or they're just like scenery.... like other dead bodies lying around...
 
From closer examination of the 'thing' it appears to be made up of a about two bodies (you can see the ribcages on the two bodies to the right of the gun)
Or the 'thing' has just stripped the shit out of two combine soldiers
You can also see father gregory above on the balcony.

Any other sugestions ?
 
yer well i think they could b zombies on hooks and they are just hangin with there arms out but i dunno

no i havnt finished playin half life im waiting for source

I think we can assume they are just dead people/ zombies/ combines just hanging, but what are those big hook hanging around for, and those two appearing from what it looks like the front bodies arms?

just be some skinny bodies hanging about. Must be an example of some of the traps Greg's set up.

Didn't the burning bodies appear in another (official) screenshot? That one was farther away (the one where Gordon is in a lit area with a Zombie heading for him), but if you look closely, you CAN see the burning bodies and Father Gregory as well... almost the exact same scene...

well spotted ram, i just had a look and its identical to the scene. Theres that body hanging...the only thing new about it is the fact father gregory has something to do with it , good eyes! :p

What other games did they review and what scores did they rate them? Heard they had a Halo 2 and GTA:SA review in the same issue, though that may have been some other Australian gaming mag I was reading about.

This better make sense in-game, they just feel funky... I mean how many variants of head crabs do we have/know about?

I just want my normal vanilla headcrab, not some ninja headcrabs!

**** wat a waste of money HYPER is such a shit mag only got it for the hl2 review and that was the only good thing in it ohwell it was only 7 bucks but still... its full of so much crap and asian shit lol they call themselves an aussie mag soz to any asians that take offence to that
 
why post "OMGZ GREAT SCREENS IN THIS MAG!" when you know you can't show the pics and you know most people here don't get the mag?

Looks like a "deadcrab", one of the new species of headcrabs that control the fast zombies, that's just jumped off its terminally-injured host.
 
There are a couple of spoilers in this mag (hyper). Those whose knowledge comes from the binks may wish to stay away
