Halo 2 gets 9.7 from OXM

Well today I tried Halo 2, and Xbox for the first time ever.

I didn't really like it that much, but I'm sure those of you who loved the first game will be drooling over it. The first level of Halo 2 feels very much like the first level of Halo. That's about all I got to play.

the true Halo2 is very cool, I enjoy the litle levels I played it
but still can be bothering after some time but still is cool

How can you take the word of the worst magazine ever, which evidently is OXM?

I tend to agree. But for the same reasons I wouldn't take PC Zone or Gamer seriously either.

Their scores of 96% plus for HL2 cause a wry smile as much OXM giving H2 9.7 does.

(and to be fair - PC publications are far more guilty of bias than even the most die hard console official mag. That is no exageration)

I don't understand what you see those magazine publication's standing to gain from giving a good write up about Half-Life 2, also how are they biased, biased towards what? First person shooters? Individual games?

The line is drawn a lot easier between the official X-Box magazine and a Microsoft published game.

And as for the comment about Tony Hawk's Pro Skater III deserving a 10, well no it didn't, because no game is perfect, especially Tony Hawk's Pro Skater which I've played.

Touche. If anything the first game was revolutionary, but none-the-less a game doesnt have to be revolutionary to be enjoyed

Skating isn't a sport.. especially the kind that THPS features.

THPS3 is my favorite sports game ever, in my top 8 of the best games ever. Its 50$ and i have gotten over 200 hrs into it beating it with every every everything a dozen times, and then TONS of multiplayer
