you could proberly find the video clip somehwere, but its a grunt and a marine watching the master chief take off, and then they are jsut together as friends has the core blows.

Speaking of end sequnces on Ledgendary. Do you get to see Mr. Cheif looks like at the end as he removes his helmet on Ledgendary?

Errrrrm... I never beat it on Legendary. In fact, I've never beaten it. I don't own it. I play it when I can on my friend's Xbox.

The religious leaders known as the "Prophets" pull the strings of the Covenant Elite. The Prophets have declared humans are demons, monsters, abominations, etc. Thus they have started a Jihad against mankind. At the point of Halo 2, the Covenant have killed somewhere around 30 - Unkown # billion humans.

You should read the books sometime. They're way better than I though they would be. Halo: First Strike comes out next month. It's the tie-in between Halo 1 & 2.

Yeah the books tells all. Read "Halo: The Fall of Reach" it is a great book and explains what happened to the SPARTANS and the human race. Then read "Halo: The Flood" it is a tie-in the game and is practically a walkthrough.

The monitor says something interesting when you're fighting the flood:

something along the lines of: "The forerunner built the ring in order to study and contain the flood. It was vital to their existance that they do this. I am pleased to see that some of them survived to reproduce."

Now, the monitor knew full well about the flood contained within the ring. So who is he referring to when he states he is please that some of them survived to reproduce? Humans = Forerunner?

When the Master Chief gets Cortana out of the core the Monitor also says something interesting: "The last time you we did this, you asked me, if it were up to me, would I do it? After much deliberation, my answer remains the same. Yes."

Has the Master Cheif activated Halo in the past? Or is the monitor simply mistaking the Master Chief for someone/something else? What is it about the Master Cheif that makes the Monitor pick him out as the 'Reclaimer'?
