Heath Ledger (joker) is dead

Oh man... that sucks :( I don't care anything for batman, but sucks that he died so young. I mean he wasn't even 30 years old right?

TMZ has learned that Academy Award nominee Heath Ledger has died in NY.

He was found dead in his bed in one of his residences in Soho by his housekeeper at 3:35 PM ET today. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ they believe it was not a crime.

The 28-year-old actor has a two year old daughter with former fiancee Michelle Williams. He plays The Joker in the upcoming Batman film, "The Dark Knight."

I HATE this sort of thing. An overdose likely?? River Phoenix will be my saddest celeb death probably because of his immense talent, but this is very similar. He will be missed by so so many. ;(
 
Just came home from a snowy commute to find this. It was the first day of my last semester in college too. Such a waste of life and talent! :( I hope they finished the movie so it doesn't end up like Bruce Lee and The Game of Death. Nobody can replace Mr. Ledger as Joker ever. Except for Nickolson but he's too old now. ****
 
Jesus what? Holy crap, no way.

Ledger was like one of <10 people I had a bit of respect for in Hollywood.

It's a shame, because The Dark Knight was showing so much potential. He really did have it in him for the Joker.

Also yes he has finished. Even if he wasn't then they could do what they done with the crow.

Not at all, he's a great actor and I'm sure his performance is stellar... I had hoped the same thing.
