Heath Ledger (joker) is dead

I am quite shocked.

You will be missed, Mr. Ledger.
 
I am glad he got in a great finishing role though. Ironically I was wearing my joker/dark knight shirt last night...
 
I just realized, when I go see The Dark Knight this summer (if it stays on schedule after this), it just won't be the same.
 
This makes me really sad. I can't believe it, I hate these overdose deaths.

Man, TDK will be sort of a tribute now. It really is a shame, he was just hitting his stride as an actor.

This may sound strange, but knowing that he's dead and now watching him perform as the joker for some strange reason make his depiction even more brilliant.
Makes me wonder what he was thinking during that role, was he covering up depression? Perhaps using some of it to create a brilliant character.

Shame about Ledger, can't say I've really seen any of his films, but 29 and with a young kiddie, it's rather tragic.

this will sound mean, but in response to sea's question. Whats that quote by stalin that is like " one death is a tragedy, a thousand deaths are a statistic"

Of course we feel terrible for all the poor children, but people will always identify and empathize more with an individual death rather than a number.
