Hitman: Blood Money Next Week!

I went to GameStop and I'm all like

"YEAH YO, can I please have a Blood Money suh"

"No. Tomorrow."

"Can you just like...release it today?"

"It'll arrive tomorrow. Now reserve games O__O"

I remember a Penny-arcade news post where a guy pointed out that they'd rather you reserve games than actually obtain them, for reasons involving jobs and bonuses and whatnot.

I...love...this...GAME!

:D :D :D :D

Just got to the mission where you're in the snow. Slows my computer down like a bitch.

That sucks - especailly considering all the hot chicks in skimpy christmas outfits!

P.S. I played through that mission again & was able to do it killing only 3 people (the 2 targets & 1 guard), no bodies found, no witnesses. :) I think I got a $75k bonus for that.

It tells you where to stand if you steal his costume and shoot him with the gun they give you at the front desk. I think at least, I did it differently but my friend shot him during the scene.

Ahh i c, thanks. I just swapped the prop from the real thing and laughed like a madman. Then BOOOOOM when his fluffy boyfriend paid him a visit

I wish it was out in Australia already.

We always get jipped. First Black and White 2 (well it was meh, but I had to wait for it's mehness!), then Episode One and now Hitman...which I have no intention of buying (it's the principal that counts!).

I know. I remember waiting so, very, very very long, for PSYCHONAUTS, the most brilliant and awesome game in the history of man.

IMHO.

I still can't find it! GRARRRRR!

Try JB-Hifi, Games Wizards, or Electronics Botique. As far as I remember they are the only places that stock Psychonauts in Australia.

Also, JB-Hifi sells Xbox Psychonauts, Games Wizards sells PC Psychonauts, and EB sells PS2 Psychonauts.

If you have a creditcard you can buy it from doublefine's site and tim shafer will even sign it himself.

If you don't, if you're under the age of whenever you get a credit card, you're totally screwed!

Back on topic ladies! We can't get this great game's topic locked!

I'm going back in for another round, see you guys in 7 hours.

Poss Spoliers for Snow level

How do you poison the sausage and how do you serve the athrodesiac to the guy in the hot tub? (im assuming its him although the description of the athrodesiac doesnt make it sound as if its meant for him)

Spoilers for that mission:

What I did to kill the marks was to shoot the swimming pool from underneath, so he will fall through and die. The second guy occasionally goes out of his room onto the balcony alone, so just push him off. :)

Took me ages to figure out :x

I done it that way too, that was simple. I was just wondering how to do it silently.

To give him the aphrodisiac go to the bar and put the stuff in a drink. A waiter will bring the drink to the pool.
How i killed him: (dont read if you want to figure the rest out yourself..)
Start the level with the silenced silverballer. Kill the assassin. Give the guy the aphrodisiac. Follow him and the girl. When you get near the room with the dead assassin, sedate the girl and drag her in there, but be careful of people walking around here (you may need to walk up to the girl to make her stop for a few seconds till they go away). Then open the bedroom door and headshot the guy.

Has anyone completed the game on pro yet?

Yeah, I finished Requiem yesterday. I didn't get SA in many of the missions but to be honest I wasn't trying for it, I was just trying to find all the wierd and wonderful ways the developers have given us to kill people.

The ending is brilliant and the two FMV's that tie things up point to at least one more hitman game to come.

Another possibility is to climb the roof from the 2nd floor (making sure no guards see you) and shoot either him or the pool from above.

For the playboy, you can either shoot him when no one is watching (elevator hallway), or plant a bomb in the studio rafters above.

I just planted a bomb in the room the douchebag and that woman go into and KABOOM.

I used my 2nd mine on blowing the lights in the rafters.

Oh how I wish the mines were throwable! 0_0

lol yea. 47 can only really lob them a short way.

I wish it recorded the main-street peoples' deaths in the mardi-gras level. I brought my fully upgraded M4, full silverballers and every decent gun I could find and spent ALL my bullets killing hundreds of people but it only recorded something like 80 deaths. :sniper:

I remember when I was getting frustrated my first time through the opera mission I put the mine into the toolbox and threw it at the balcony with the guy with tons of security.

LMAO :D

Leon would be proud :p

Spoilers for the first Vegas mission:

I tried to kill the Saudi guy in the private room by planting a mine in the South Africans briefcase. Well when he went into the bathroom he apparently saw the mine, freaked out, and ran back into his room. At this point I had already spent too much time on the mission, so I just grabbed the suitcase and chucked it over the divide blocking off the private room and detonated it. This actually worked pretty well ... completed the mission with no witnesses and only a couple extra deaths (the security guys that got blown up).

SPOILERS are contained within this post (nothing major)

Half way through the game (i think, on the mississippi boat level) and now going through it on expert/pro (highest difficulty whatever that is). Very challenging. Trying to get the silent assassin rating. Im assuming you get that from using no gun weapons of any sort?? Just injections and fiber wire kills with no noise, damage etc etc.

Hardest diff level on A vintage year. Im going straight on from spawn. Fiberwire(FW) the guy who looks over the waterfall. Drag his body into the long grass, take suit and shotgun. Climb up the rusty van and down into the hole in the roof into the barn. Walk out of the barn and turn left and walk toward the drainpipe. Up the pipe and into the bosses room. Wait for him to stop playing the violin (does it actually make any difference if you kill him whilst he is playing? Hope it does.) and FW him. ... Back down the pipe and make your way left to the main area. Go through the doors that are used by the tour guides. This is where I mess up. I go into the room with the barrels, the cocaine and the storage box and wait for Mr Pink to arrive. I try to grab him before he reaches his line of cocaine and ultimately in site of a security guard although I always mess up (only tried 3 times).

How does that sound? Is there an easier way.

Also, assuming I can kill Mr Pink perfectly (the way im describing) then dumping him in the box I could either leave the same way I came in and back around to the first guard I killed, retrieve my suit and make my way around and down the cliff edge and silently escape (May not even have to kill anyone near the plane). Either that or I could use the lift which in situated around that area and down to the plane. Although I think that would require a lot more work and disguises.

SPOILERS EH

If you go up the stairs, you can plant a mine on the winch that is attached to a very large set of boxes. Every once in a while, Mr Pink will go under those boxes and tie his shoe, when he does, blow the mine, the boxes will fall and crush him. That's how I did it.

Are you still able to get Silent Assassin if you get an Accident kill?

I havent choose to do it that way as im assuming youre creating too much damage and noise to get the best rating that way.

Just finished the first mission. I wacked the old dude by pushing him over the balcony. The young dude I blew up down in the cellar. I got silent assassin, even tho the body of the blown up guy was discovered.

I got on that hospital mission where you gotta rescue Agent Smith. The opera mission was pissing me off, so I kinda went ballistic near the end.

Hey great, I'm on that mission too! Except the game crashes every 3 ****ing seconds!! I spent around 40 bucks, plus tax and gas expenses on this game which I've waited to get since a long time, and what do I get in return? I take 3 steps and my computer locks up, the monitor displaying about 6 million colors and artifacts. Not only has this happened with Sin Episodes, now it's going to rip me off another game? I call bullshit. I'm fed up. I want a fix. Right now. I paid for a working game and that's what I want right this second.

Guys.....the Opera Misson doesnt have to frusterate you......heres how i did it.
when you first enter, retrive the real WW1 pistol. Go into thr bathroom and wait for a worker to come in. Wait till he is peeing to FW him. Take his clothes. Make your way downstairs via the door on the other side of the coat station. Navigate your way through the basement till you reach the backstage area. Wait till the scene is over so the actors return to their dressing rooms. One actor goes to his dressing room then goes to the bathroom. Go into his dressing room while hes out and swap out pistols. Then go through the double doors that should be right in front of you when you exit his dressing room. Go upstairs and go through the door at the top and you should be in a room with a winch and some pigeons, along with a worker. wait for the worker to leave then plant the mine on the winch. Go down the ladder and circle the dome until you come to and opening in the floor and climb down onto some scaffolding. Make sure you can see the center aisle from here. Wait for the scene to start and the guy to actually shoot the actor. His friend will run downstairs when he is shot and into the center aisle. He will trip before he reaches the end. Blow the mine when he trips which will causes the chandeler to fall on him. Your Done! Hopefully no one saw you blowing the mine. Safely return to the bathroom to retrieve your suit if need be!

I just went through that level for the third time.

But the level that I love the most is the suburban level :D

Im having some bullshit errors on the Opera mission, about 2 minutes after the start of the mission, when you can hear the rehersal starting and the Opera music my game crashes. Im able to keep it open for about another minute while it lags to hell and the sound continues to loop over and over. Then eventually it stops repsonding.

Any help??

That is so much cooler than the way I did it. I just FW'ed the actor in his dressing room and hid him behind the curtain, then climbed to the rafters in a worker's disguise and shot the other target with a silenced silverballer.

;(

Damn, I was wondering what all the scaffolding up there was for...

I got the WWI gun but when I got to the backstage, he's already in his dressing room so I just knock his face in with a hammer.

I did something similar, but different.

Instead of using the explosive I brought my sniper rifle along, went down the ladder that is in the same room the winch is in (just keep heading straight), Once you get down the ladder turn right and there is a hole, go down it. Once down there unpack the sniper and go to right before your cover ends on the rail (should be blankets or sheets) look at the ground and there should be a board that has a slit in it that you can see through. Look through it and you should see the targets face (one in the balcony). When the actor shot the second target was when I shot the first target. Go back up the wires (where the hole was) and walk right out.

How much did this game improve on the previous hitman, cause I am thinking of buying the old three games for 10,-. But I hear they have a hell of a lot of bugs and are insanely difficult.
I had hitman 2 for xbox and it was a hell of a lot better than I thought it would be. I bought the game, and played it for like 2 days straight. I don't even think I slept.

I normally have trouble finishing games in my older age, but this game was hot. What with the birds landing nearby, making beggar bird noises, then flying off, the levels felt really detailed. You can even shoot the birds with the Desert Eagle.. talk about over-kill! The black birds give the game a dark feel. Nice textures for the stonework.

The game has been out for a few years, but the graphics were extremely good at the time. I can still clearly hear the Desert Eagle like music to my ears. Unless my memory is biased, I've yet to hear gun sound samples as good as were in Hitman2. Extremely crisp with serious punch.

I can highly recommend the game if you like to kill people and shoot guns and travel to interesting areas. Sweet rag-dolls too.
The game does the multiple scenario thing really well. I loved how I never knew If I was 'doing it right'. Improvising all the way through the levels, never knowing if my cover was blown and they were on to me... then I would just kill him and hopefully no one else knows, so no one else has to die! The man who knew too much! poor bad guys ;) So yea, it feels really free, even though the levels aren't entirely free, you are free to complete the mission however you can.

So how is Blood money on the 360? I don't have time to read 20 pages in this thread, but I tried! :)

That's how I did it but I hid in the actor's closet while I waited for him to leave. He picks up the pistol and kind of practices with it for a bit. He scared me when he aimed it almost RIGHT into the closet. Then I remembered I still had the real gun and he had the prop one :p
