Hitman: Blood Money Next Week!

I run it on max with a:

Athlon XP 2600+
1GB DDR RAM
Radeon 9800 Pro 256MB

..and I don't have any problems unless I get into a room with a lot of people
 
I can run the demo with the patch applied on high settings smooth as butter.

Full version runs like poop.

What the hell.
 
Downloading the Demo, hopefully if it runs well the full game should run at a similar rate:

nVidia 5600
1GB RAM
2.8ghz Pentium 4
 
Just played the demo, and damn...
If it ran alittle bit better, it would be a definite purchase.

The winch kill was so badass.
And the movie at the end was pretty badass too, shit... I think I'll reinstall Hitman 2.
 
I got it, despite my earlier review. Just went through the training level again and then into the hideout to test out a few guns.

One problem. The sound cracks badly when i use the sniper rifle or the Baller. Any ideas? Havent had this prob before.

Its a sound blaster Audigy btw
 
Damn I just called EB and they said they're only getting limited copies of Blood Money on the 31st. Once I get my paycheck I gotta get down there and preorder.
 
Aww, when I downloaded the demo and opened the setup nothing happens. :(
 
Silenced shotgun with a scope ftw

You can turn any of the 5 main weapons into a sniper rifle, and you can actually make the W2000 into a reasonably good carbine to carry around no-scoping with

I had the same problem, I just redownloaded from a diffrent website and it worked.
 
Hah! Got my preorder for the PC version of hitman bloodmoney. Hell yeah!!! I can't wait to kill someone with a piano wire on Tuesday! (in the game of course)

He could have moved out of range though. The regular detonator only works within 25m.
 
I finished the game a couple days ago and . . . how do you do spoiler tags?

EDIT: Big spoiler, don't highlight unless you FINISHED the game.


The game seems to hint that agent 47 was injected with that death-syrum & might not actually be dead. I also hate how they spoil their own story - I realize that's a recent style in a number of movies, but it sucks!
 
SPOILERS:

phantomdesign, they don't hint at it all. Try pressing movement keys when 47's lying 'dead' at the funeral, then you'll get the real ending. It bloody rules.

I say the same, I've only come to the second mississipi level :O and it's a difficult one, but then again I play on Expert :D

I tried that . . . but I didn't hit the movement keys enough! Dang, I love the ending!

I think Hitman 2 was the one to concentrate most on story (But I haven't played Contracts though.)
 
Hitman 2 didn't really have much of a story. Really, the first one concentrated on story. But, I think 2 and 3 concentrated more on 47's character and his philosophy concerning his job. Not exactly explored in depth, but its there. Blood Money looks to be the best in the story department. Ugh, I can't wait till the 30th :(
 
The first time I didn't, so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it at the default path, it still dosen't patch.

I can't find a .reg or anything to edit. :<
 
The game runs (With the shoddy performence etc.) so I downloaded the patch, when I open the installer for the patch the patch comes up with the error and closes.

That should clear things up if anyone dosen't understand.

Reaktor, Hitman 2 runs smoother than a babies' ass on my computer. I am not talking about the performance I am talking about the patch not installing.
 
The performance is probably because of your video card. I remember trying to run hitman 2 years ago with a similar card...

The demo was the tutorial level, the actual game is much better than the demo / tutorial.

As for Danimal's problem, I have no idea but best bet would be to browse the official forums for it, that or go for tech support/FAQ. :/
 
If the demo is the tutorial level, then you're missing out on a TON! Don't let the demo get you down, this game ROCKS :) Especailly the ending!
 
Right, after all these positive comments I'm definately gonna go and pick it up tomorrow evening.
