HL2:Episode 2, Portal @ gamespot

Glee! This'll be the first new Portal footage since... what, GDC?
 
I hope we will get to see new episode 2 footage I mean Valve should at least should show one last video before the release so far we've been only getting screens.

Look at the gamespot page linked above and go to Friday (tab).
First block says
"10am - Lock and Load
Wake up to the smell of shooters: Half-Life: Episode 2, Portal, and Crysis!"
You have to wait til 10AM PDT. It's almost 10PM (Thursday) right now Pacific time. So in 12 hours it will be Live.

Could just be an interview or they could also play the games there. Like the UT3 one didn't show any gameplay, just an interview. The COD4 one they did 20mins of gameplay plus interview.
 
Has everyone seen the "Hands On Portal" in the G4 Pile?

Ooooh. Doug Lombardi also says the games cross-reference each other and that the storylines tie together.

So how exactly are we supposed to watch this? I don't see any links anywhere yet.
 
And a couple hours after the 10AM live broadcast they will put up a recorded link to watch it from. Like what is on the Thursday page.

This link was in my browser history for gamespot and the video currently playing from there looks live (some basketball video game). Might be the same link they will show the HL2 stuff.

The feed switched on the live link I just gave. Not sure what is showing. Showing a bit more than just the stage, cameras and stuff just idle.

Well it just started everyone watch now! Man I can't wait to see what Valve brought in to E3 better be new footage.

Well now it seems that the Hunters can be killed by your weapons they seem a bit more weaker than before maybe it's just me.
 
He was using pretty powerful guns and aiming at their center. IDK
 
That's some incredible TF2 taunt animations they've got there.

That sucks. You'll be able to watch it later too. Usually takes them an hour or so and then they will have the recording of the live show setup.
 
There was some unseen hunter action, but portal was pretty much the same thing.

The TF2 part showed some pyro first-person and the taunt animations.
 
HL2 episode 2 looks better than I expected... though it could use more trees :D
 
That was pretty nice. The Hunters are looking more and more fun to fight, though Doug did die a few times, so they're still not too easy. Now we also know how to solve that cable puzzle, though, so a bit of a spoiler there.

Lovely car too!
 
Well I wonder when Doug said in ep2 they approached a radio tower was that going to be the part where we communicate with Dr. kleiner and Eli where they tell us what is going on although we already have the car so this must take place somewhere in the middle of the game.
 
Looking forward to seeing the gameplay footage because I ****ing missed the first half.
 
Hope they release more screen shots in this week's steam update.
 
Damn, I missed the Episode Two part.
And did I hear that right, releasedate october 12th in Europe...
 
Not for Steam xirow. Which is no good for me, I want the 360 version.
