HL2.net Arma 2 Ace 2 Information Videos

I don't have it installed and I'm not going to have it installed tomorrow either. As far as I know, this is going to be a regular acemod arma 2 game.

I don't even know anything about I-44. How the hell can you cope without a scope!?

I'd personally love to play I44, if the others also feel like it. I wasn't into shooters during the WW2 cliche

Hopefully if Dinnesch plays he can have the latest version. Dinnesch and fridays don't mix well.

Well that happened only once with Addonsync, normally works perfectly. Don't worry 'bout me bro
 
I'm all updated and downloading the island now. I'll be up for a game. Should be able to fit a mission or two in.

Edit: all installed and up-to-date.

I'm up for regular ACE mod or I44.
 
What's the mumble server that we'll be connecting to?

I'll be on around 6 EST to get going.

I also have I44 installed. Maybe we could do one I44 mission and another mission with just ACE, depending on how long the first mission goes.
 
Actually Dinnesch, we've managed to get our own channel on that server. Theres an hl2.net section in there somewhere, don't remember the exact name though.
 
Our current channel is located on LANKnights.net, and the channel name is Hl2.net Lounge. Contact myself or any of the regulars for the password.
 
Really? I just run Addon Sync and it says it's still up-to-date still. Unless the server I connect to is a little slow to update.
 
You really need to get Sixupdater working.

Download the latest version here (it's a windows gui now) http://six.dev-heaven.net/wagn/Six_Updater+download

Set your Profile to A2 OA Combined Ops

Go to the mods tab and make sure the following mods aren't disabled or skipped:

@ACE
@ACEX
@ACEX_RU
@ACEX_SM
@ACEX_USNavy
@CBA

Set the action to Install Or Update and hit run.
 
Ok I'm updating now but it's going pretty slow. I'll try make it if it finishes in time.
 
The windows application for sixupdater is pretty neat and basically required no effort on my part and it was fast and easy.
 
Oh, never mind it's up to date. For some reason it was downloading everything even though I told it to skip them. So I'm good to play.

Great session last night.

We had 10 players at the beginning, IIRC. Only a few people left as the hours went on.

We took 7 towns in Dom by the end of the game. That's good work!

Glenn and Phoenixx were a great addition to the team. HL2.net Arma now has 13 players (that have played with us at least once)
I believe we still have Ennui, Morgan, and Hokey to get playing with us.

16 hl2.netters playing Arma 2, now that's something I never would have imagined back in the days of just Raz, Viper, and me.

Was fun, even though I only managed to stay for two towns, not sure how many kills I got but I got way more in the second town moving through those trees. They were everywhere! :D

Up for another game sometime, maybe some I44 would be nice?

Argh, what the **** with the death match shit viper! Go play counterstrike or BF2.

Also... if I'm going to be playing this weekend... which honestly I'm hesitant about right now... I need to know what you guys are playing. If you're playing I44, I need to know all the stuff I need to get in order to play it.
 
I'm down. If anybody wants to play today, start updating ace as soon as you read this. I figure we can get going ~ 4pm eastern time? Thats 3 hours from now.

We don't have a server. We just get together to play occasionally, most often with me hosting from my machine.

Are there any decent Police/Law Enforcement simulators for ARMA II? Found a few topics on it, but cannot confirm how developed these particular mods are.
