I think that is the best idea I have seen yet...but I don't think that G-Man or Father Gregori should be on there....maybe combine tower for 10,000? and bump up gunship to 5000

Okay, I kind of updated mine. Switched some of the scores and some of the creatures' placements. [EDIT]: Actually, I didn't switch creature placement. It's fine the way it is.

There. And no taking away the G-man rank, 10k posts is MORE than enough for about three people to get it in the next year :cheese:

And about the custom ranks, I disagree that they should not be allowed. Just say that when you reach 20k posts, you get to have a custom title. And then the people with enough posts will be worshipped as forum veterans, with their crazy titles. And to keep idiots from getting the custom titles that they would want, here comes rules:

1) No expletive/sexually-explicit words
2) No titles similar to staff titles.
3) You must use *real* words (i.e. no l337sp34k or crazy letters a la H: |-| or N: |\|)
4) You may only change your title once per week.
5) Your title must be preapproved by a moderator before it is updated.
6) Not really applicable to the custom title itself, but have a more strict approach to repeated spamming.

So, mods? Does that sound good?

Unless someone replaces Munro's brain with a piggy toy, custom titles ain't gonna happen, they'll be abused. More you pester for it the less chance you'll get any changes made to the post ranks. The fact people are going on about it so much proves custom titles are a bad idea. Give it up already

Or, how about.. If you REALLY want Custom titles.. We change it so every post has to be 100 characters or more, anyone caught cheating their way around it will have their post count reset to zero.. IF you do make it to a custom title, you can't ever change it afterwards, it remains the same from then on, and an Admin and the staff vote before its changed to decide if its any good. Still want custom titles?

Well we don't even know how many G-man's there are. G-man is still just a general term for Government-Man, so there's the possibility of other G-men in HL2. Plus, with 10000 posts you'd deserve the title

As for custom titles, I haven't really thought of what I would put... When I think of one, a good one, I'll post it here.

G-Man is the name of that character. I know what a G-man is in real life, but they used that because they didnt want to call him John Doe or whatever.

Anyway, if there are multiple G-men then perhaps it will become a title, however until we know for sure, it will not be included.
