I've never have been cheated on also...yes some of the girls here are that way, not all. Also no they ain't "farmer chicks".There's bearly any farms here in northern alabama in the first place.

Good stereotype.

(I bet she's cheating on you now.)

i dont bet she is. :|

i like stereo types, i reckon you should do a survey, 100 intervews in north Alabama and 100 in the south and make a graph and show everyone the hotspots to avoid :)

i got cheated on once , in an exceedingly petty relationship, so meh i went n pulled the fittest lass there and then got slapped:P was funny all my mates were like uhh what are you odoing you completly ignored him all night.

Riding bareback on a wolfhound, with the one who's supposedly "The Love", through a forest of nettles shouting your head off about the wonders of orgasm to all of nature and firing two revolvers off into the air wildly.

That could just be me, though.

I think Stern and Farrow both have it right, you have to get the balance right and well whatever feels good for you :). I have or rather I am in love, it's painful at times but well worth it, you can't really describe it. It's long distance and I never met her offline so we agreed to go out with someone else if we met someone.. not likely though (my end :P) I don't talk to women :D. They don't go into my social circle and anyway im off to university soon so it would be short one

Describe true love.....
I think it would be possible to tell with only one person, i mean even in my life i can tell what love is, and i just don't have it for anyone.
If he's that keen to keep it going so much it looks like he is either in love or one of these wierd obsessive people.

heh, if all the philosophers, sages and wisemen havent been able to nail it down, what chance do I have?

some of you may not understand this but I dont think true love can be between a man and a woman...or a man and a man for that matter ...true love is unconditional and there are times in everyone's relationship where it flourishes and wanes ...that said, my perfect love is for my son ..I love my son unconditionally and would gladly give my life for him, the same goes for my wife but romantic love can pass, the love of your offspring (usually) lasts forever

Sounds great. Cept the nettles.

Love cannot be described, it can only be felt.
Love is when you see the person at their worst and yet you still want to be with them.
Love is when you feel like you can't live without that person.
Love is the only thing that can be horrible and wonderful at the same moment.
Love should drive you insane.
Love creeps up on you when you least expect it.
Love is unpredictable.
Love is every feeling in the world rolled into one.
Love is different for every person.
Love is when you make decisions that would never be made otherwise.
Love is when you make irrational decisions and they end up being the right ones.
Love is when you savor every moment with the person as if it were like being in the presence of God.
Love is when you think about someone every second every day.
Love is when you care about the person inside rather than who is on the outside.
Love is when you appreciate the differences between both of you.
Love is when you understand someone to the point where nothing needs to be said to see how they are feeling.
Love is where you would trust someone to care for you if something happened to you.
Love is where you feel you are connected to the person.
Love is governed by your heart, not your mind.
Love is rare, so cherish it when you find it.
Love is rare, so hold that person with both hands and never let go.
Love is forever.

(Yes, I wrote that...)

To live is like to love--all reason is against it, and all healthy instinct for it.
Samuel Butler
Love is perhaps the most complicated emotion a human being will come across but is also, I think, the most rewarding experience ever.

Non existant.

I can't see to get myself interested at all.

I blame the radiation from my monitor. Its killed my sex drive.

I would describe love like I would describe old cheese

Moldy and yellow

# A deep, tender, ineffable feeling of affection and solicitude toward a person, such as that arising from kinship, recognition of attractive qualities, or a sense of underlying oneness.
# A feeling of intense desire and attraction toward a person with whom one is disposed to make a pair; the emotion of sex and romance.
#

1. Sexual passion.
2. Sexual intercourse.
3. A love affair.

# An intense emotional attachment, as for a pet or treasured object.
# A person who is the object of deep or intense affection or attraction; beloved. Often used as a term of endearment.
# An expression of one's affection: Send him my love.
#

1. A strong predilection or enthusiasm: a love of language.
2. The object of such an enthusiasm: The outdoors is her greatest love.

# Love Mythology. Eros or Cupid.
# often Love Christianity. Charity.

Love is ****ing crazy. It comes in stages, too. At first, it's just a deep affection for someone. Then it gets more powerful, to an overwhelming degree. So much so that you can't concentrate on tasks at hand, or do any work. So powerful that you lay in bed because you can't bring yourself to do anything else. And it's extremely obvious to observers, even if it doesn't seem it to you. Eventually, if you're lucky enough, the feeling becomes mutual. And that's when it gets really good. Just being around them is nirvana. You feel safe, and complete, and warm and happy and a billion other good things. Like the world could blow up and it'd all be just fine.

And I speak from personal experience.

The fusion of souls. The destruction of one's self to become one with another. The ability to deny reality by experiencing deluded fantasy with another person. Oh wait, actually that isnt love, thats infatuation. That's a villainous pursuit for power and significance at the expense of the annihilation of another person and your self. Thats not love. That's insanity, that's obsession and it's unhealthy and wrong and horrible and chaotic and harmful and destructive and pointless.

True love? Thats when your mother holds you in her arms, when she feeds you, wipes shit off your ass and cares for you. True love is when your father spends his life working at some stupid job so he can pay for your education and so he can buy the food that keeps you alive. Thats love.

You can't love women. You can only love family. Thats why we have marriage. All this girlfriend boyfriend dating bullshit is just westernised cultural values that cause pain and suffering for innocent young people who have no idea what they're getting into. And as for mutual infatuation...well thats just like a fuking buisness transaction. Because you can't ask for something in return when you love someone. If your expecting love in return, you don't really love the other person, you love yourself through that other person.

True love is compassion. True love is selfless and secure.

Right now I'd describe love as a terrrible thing. But that's coz I'm having trouble with the missus.

Love is a great feeling that I feel where my heart is...weird really. But it scares me. Its not that I feel vulnerable. However trusting someone else with all that emotion is difficult, when you don't know what the right thing to do is.
The last time I met the girl of my dreams, I wasn't sure if I felt love or if I was having a heart-failure, it later turned out to be the first one

As an update to my original whining about love, she told me she feels the same. Yay me!

I'd describe love as a psychosis =o
But in a good way ;)

Seriously, how can someone who would have sacrificed 100's to save one be considered sane?

If everyone wore in love at the same time the human race would last a day, maybe two :S

Good going :D

Love is being able to tolerate a womans presence after having sex with them, without feeling the urge to tell them to p**s off because you want to sleep.
