Ok, I have come to the conclusion that I'm a National Socialist. Before you go flaming me, let me make one thing clear: I do NOT want to be, at all. I guess it started with gentle patriotism, leading to the BNP... and it doesn't help that all my friends are aryan nazis (they often make fun of me for being the only non-aryan). But I want it to stop.. trouble is, I have heard so much white nationalist propaganda that I actually believe it all... I've seen figures of rape and murder rates for each race, and it just re-inforces my beliefs...

I want to get out of this whole scene... I am a member of stormfront (though I don't post), and as I've said, my friends are constantly coming up with facts and statistics about non-whites. I don't want to believe what I hear, but I do. My parents are naturally worried about what I think... so please, help me. I came here because I've seen a lot of intelligent posts around and I hoped that this thread wouldn't culminate in GTFO FASCIST C*NT. I don't know what to do :|

They get the crappiest jobs, they don't get the trust they deserve, no respect, bad PR...what would you do? You have to eat right? And if people kept on dissing you in every way possible, wouldn't you get mad and do something 'stupid'...

I read in the paper that 'gifted' black and ethnic minority pupils will be given extra help at school in order to close the intelligence gap between them and white pupils. And the only way I see blacks being portrayed on TV is as gangsta-ass killers who love guns, drugs and sex. I thought this was a stereotype, but when I was in NYC this summer I went to Harlem, and it was very real. I've never felt more uneasy in my life.

EDIT: And yes, I know in the traditional sense Aryan means from India/Persia, but I'm using it in the nazi sense of the word... white skin, blond hair, blue eyes.

2nd EDIT: I think they're generally joking.. they will tolerate any white person, regardless of eye colour, as long as they're from europe. I have brown eyes and black hair, so I think that actually originates outside Europe. I'm confused about all that ethnic origin stuff though :/

But it IS a stereotype. You're generalizing a whole race of people based on the worst examples. It's no better than looking at Ted Bundy or Charles Manson and claiming that all white people are sociopathic serial killers.

Stop grouping people into groups based on ethnicity, it only breeds animosity between them. Start treating people based on what they do as individuals, not on what you associate with their race.

You've taken the first step already Barney, recognizing you have a problem. That's generally the hardest step. Once you've done that you've got to look at the reasons you dislike certain types of people. Particularly in Britain the problem is not an ethnic one, but a social one. White, Black, Hispanic, whatever, at the end of the day if you're desperate and/or greedy every person is capable of the same terrible acts reguardless of race. As Stern said, statistics can be manipulated to suit anyone's means. Especially if the source is dodgy.

Well I can't say I know a lot of black people in rural north Wales, so it's logical for me to assume that the majority are like that, I suppose.. and to answer Taxman, I don't think that any race is overall "superior", so I suppose I'm not really a very good nazi in that sense, although I do recognise the differences (East asians are generally more intelligent than whites, blacks are generally better at athletic sports).

It sounds like you need to get out of there and see some more of the world. Meet different people, make friends, realise that all this crap you've been fed is indeed nothing but bullshit.

Some of the cleverest and kindest people i've had the fortune to know have been black/indian/asian. It's your choice - spend your life living in a pool of ignorance or embrace the variety that makes this world such a cool place to live. As for being proud to be white - be proud of your family, your achievements, the people you know who deserve it, but being proud of the colour of your skin is ridiculous in the extreme - you might as well be proud of your hair colour.

You're what, 15, 16? So are your friends? In short, no offence, but that means that you and your friends know shit about life. Nothing.

Stay a member of Stormfront. Read the posts, and try to understand the mentality of some of the posters. My opinion is that they're mostly using their own fears about the future, and using different cultures as a scapegoat - note I said culture, not race. Generally they're just disenfranchaised young men not unlike yourself. People who don't have the ability or the intellect to empathise with anybody not in their immediate social group.

You should also bear in mind that people from other cultures, and who belong to a different racial group, are indeed different. That doesn't mean they are inferior, but closing your eyes to the obvious differences in traditions and belief systems, as well as the slight physical differences, only increases the likelihood that you'll become more ignorant of these things as time goes by.

The most important thing however is to start thinking for yourself, and the best way to do that is to remove yourself from your present situation and start meeting other people.

I had a similar situation when I was younger. Pretty much 85% of my yeargroup was racist, and your mind gets befuddled. The amazingness of the Internet was what saved me from that slippery slope - I learnt all about loads of different cultures, and now I see myself more of a Human than a Brit.
