Im back from Alctraz & I got to talk to the man.

I recorded an hour worth of video, saw the whole presentation (which WAY better than expected) and got to talk to Gabe Newell himself. Im editing the video down now but I need mirrors which I was hoping some of you might be able to help with. I'll try to make torrents out of everything big.

BTW I got some free stuff which I'll take pics of (a tshirt, two jackets, and some 9800 XT and 9600 XT info).

I actually got to have very long dicusstions from guys from Shacknews, HardOCP, Dreamworks, and TechTV. I have to say that they are some of the coolest ppl I have ever meet.

Now, please don't flame me but holding a cammera over my head for over an hour is very hard and my arms got tired so the video is real shakey.

Second my battery ran out before gabe could finnish his presentation but you don't miss anything anyway. All new info I got (and I do have lots) never got recoreded properly so Im just gonna write it out.

how big is the video? i can possibly host it on www.wspawn.net ... but i only get 15 gigs per month bandwidth so if hundreds of people download it i might get ****ed.. how big?

I could host directly for people via IRC. I have unlimited GB a month, but my upload is 70k. So I can do 2-3 people at once.

it doesnt need to be HIGH quality....he didnt get a direct feed of the television at the event...just a cam

Ok, well the tape just finnished rewinding... Now I gotta capure and edit it. This may take many hours since there is alot to do. It may be better if I did it at my work in the video lab tomorrow morning since that is where all the AVID stuff is and I have lots of bandwith avaliable there. In the mean time I can give you a sample.
