My weight is 120lbs, im very skinny and tall, and recently started working out in the gym. Ive been to Mc Donalds 3 times in the last 2 days, im eating a big mac atm and i was there just 4 hours ago eating another one. Its about 7 miles away so i take my bike so i get a somewhat exercise everytime i go there. I eat there ATLEAST once a week. Ive been doing this for about 3 months now and i havent gained any weight so i guess my metabolism is messed up!


So wuts gona happen? Am i one day gona swell up or am i gona have a heart attack at 30? Or am i gona become the next arnold if i continue my work out and eat at Mc Donalds? Or do i have to quit Mc Donalds totaly? :(

I'm a pretty healthy guy - generally eat well, go to the gym 3 times a week - but once or twice a week get the craving to eat complete shite, which usually means McDonalds.

3 burgers, 6 nuggest and large fries is my meal of choice :)
 
Mcdonalds disgusts me.

At least you don't work in fast food, I find it so hard not to eat there, thankfully i haven't gained wight

You could at least eat junk food at a decent fast food restaurant. I prefer burger king over McDonald's any day of the week, even though people will say the opposite.

You're only 120 pounds. You're a skinny kid. If you were a chick, I might call you anorexic. Eating junk food isn't going to balloon you, at least not right now according to what you say, since your metabolism operates very well. Be thankful it does. Mine certainly doesn't.

You're not going to enlarge instantly. You'll notice it as time passes and you keep up the eating habits. Just pay attention to any changes you make, but don't obsess.
 
Ick, I can't stand eating McDonalds. I only eat there when it's necessary. Like when I have no money.

Hehe, it's just the opposite here on base. When you're broke, you eat at the galley, when you have money you "treat" yourself to McDonald's. For me, however, I always eat at the galley. It's healthier and a hell of a lot cheaper. McDonald's food has just become disgusting to me.
 
Go to you're grocery store and get some tofu dogs with jalapenos.

McDonalds is just gross... If you're gonna eat unhealthy fast food, atleast go to somewhere with healthier fast food.
 
That kind of defeats the point. Isn't the attraction in how shite the food is?
 
I don't eat fast food at all - in fact, I don't eat that much junk food at all.
 
I used to eat fast food all the time, now it just disgusts me. I don't think I've had a burger from a fast food place in six months. The idea comes up with a bunch of friends and I always turn it down. It doesn't even sound good anymore.
 
I used to love it but then I discovered all kinds of "natural" foods that are much better tasting and healthier than fast food and junk food crap.

I've been eating only dorm food and fast food since I've gone to Tech. If it wasn't for all the walking, I'm sure my body would be showing the effects. :x
 
Only fast food places I eat at are Jack in the Box which tastes the best imo, though its too far away to eat at often... and Burger King (dbl whopper, 8 pc chicken, fries, drink). Subway too, but that doesn't count.
 
Fast food is ok, but christ, McDonalds is the worst :(

I saw some special on eating nothing but McDonald's for a month. When they reported that his liver was shutting down, I didn't eat fast food or a long, long time.

I get the same cravings. I dont think you have to worry until you get older and your metabolism gets f***ed up. I prefer their fattening salads lately....

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I lol'd pretty hard when I read the title of this thread.
 
It's not that bad for you as long as you're being physically active. However, if you're really trying to be more athletic it's only going to slow you down. I'd also like to point out, Biking is more efficient than walking and running. Walking actually takes 3x the energy to go the same distance. If you're gonna be eating McDonalds, i'd suggest running quite a bit. I don't think Biking would cut it. If by working out at the gym you mean lifting weights. Keep in mind, lifting weights is ment to build muscle, running is ment to burn fat. McDonalds = Fat.

I've had McDonalds twice in the last two months. Hardee's 3 times in the last two months. I usually just get a cheeseburger with ketchup and nothing else.

I also work at Pizza Hut, so I do eat a lot of pizza. Although we have a really relaxed workplace, so I spend about an hour juggling my soccer ball while working.

When I eat, I try to stick to foods that:
1)No or Low In fat. Especially saturated fat.
2)Really high in Carbs.
3)No or Low in Sugar.

Which is why I eat a lot of Bagels, Rice, Spaghetti, Corn Flakes, Chex, etc..

btw, KFC < McDonalds in terms of health.

oh and yes, i'm skinny, tall, and eat all day long and never gain weight.

I'm also addicted to Soda. Did real good for a while. Didn't have soda for months. Now I'm having atleast 1 a day.

Don't worry. I wash my hands when I come in, and before I come back on break. You see 1:00 to 3:00 we have about 3 orders. So when i'm working during those times, I stay outside and juggle my soccer ball. And yes, when I come back in, I wash them. Someone else makes the pizza's so I'm not interrupted.

Just kidding!! Why would I wash my hands? You Silly!!!
 
At least go to burger king, then you have the cool mascot and it actually tastes nice

Quite true. proof can be found in the fact that they put tofu in resident evil 2.
 
Burger King is TASTY! MC's are too salty and feel, taste, and look like shit.

I try to eat more bread when I'm hungry. :P

I splurge probably 2/3rds of money on food, and usually fast food. I can't say I really feel bad about it either, I'm out of shape, but my body looks just fine. Plus, fast food tastes good.
 
mcdonalds' big macs are just too tasty to turn down...i usually order 2 double big mac meals if i get the munchies ;)
 
It's because there's no nutrients in McD "food". You're better off eating grass to gain weight.
