Iran holds Holocaust Cartoon Contest

They'll probably turn the holocaust cartoons into another "holocaust didnt happen" "holocaust was exadurated" etc kind of thing.
Just so they can screw the jews.
What a sad sad people. If Europe wants to pwn them, we just have to reprint those holocaust cartoons once they're out :p
That should succesfully let Iran fall flat on his face in front of the entire world.. :)

My grandfather fought in World War II if you NEED for me to have been 'connected' somehow to the event. And again, are you denying the Holocaust?

If you were alive and in the area that the germans were going through during WWII, they would have killed you too, for mental deficiency. Like they did thousands of others. Or then again, maybe they wouldn't... since you don't see them as that bad of people. The greatest evil the Nazi's did was the holocaust, and if you don't think that happened or wasn't anywhere near the extreme that it was, you probably don't think the Nazi's are all that bad. They mention it because they have deep feeling and caring and sympathy for those of their people that they lost during the holocaust. THe jewish people have bee persecuted throughout history perhaps more than any other group of people ever.

How is a Jewish state for Jews a bad thing? They let other people live there(with the exception of conflicts between Israel and Palestinians) in peace, and don't round them up and murder them en masse.

The Holocaust happened in its entirety. Millions and millions of people died. Not just Jews, but Jews, Gypsies, homosexuals, mentally and physically impaired people, and many many more! yes, I have been to Auschwitz, and of course when read something I dont belive it right away,but I have read numerous articles about this subject in the past months..that just made come to this conclusion.

PS:Flying Debris, dont get me wrong yes jews and many others where killed for a stupid ideology,but the whole thing is so hyped,and used a political tool.Thats my whole problem.
 
Nothing that momentous happens without profoundly affecting global politics, possibly for centuries to come.

Some people are going to use it as a "political tool" (as vague a concept as that is), but that shouldn't reflect on anyone but those who do it.

first of all, jewish terrorist groups where bombing the region in the early 40s and already proclamed Palastine "judea" before Isreal was formed,so I can see where that "hate" is coming from.and also think about it, Do you really think 9/11 would have happend If Israel and the US werent bed buddys?.The US actually has to bribe Egypt so they leave Israel alone,the only reason why Israel won that "war is because of US tax money, and to this day Israel gets money from the US,thats one of the main reason why arabs not only hate jews but US Citizens as well.

So.....what are we talking about in this thread again...I got pretty lost. I think it was about some cartoons or something. Again we see people drawing cartoons. The thing that really gets me annoyed is that I don't think we will see an end to this cartoon thing for a long time....for a very long time. And with the olympics coming up it's even worse.

EDIT: And I don't really see how jewish people hold any meaning to the topic of the thread.
