That's called bullying.

Mothers do it... friends do it. Its pressuring the person into thinking they're gay. I'm not talking about punk assed guy friends doing it to their others.

oh come on! could someone "convert" you? if you're gay you're gay ..no amount of "peer pressure" can make someone gay or straight

Sure it can. You can bug somebody so much about it, trying to get them to sleep with another guy or girl... and who knows, maybe they'll like it. You don't either 'like it', or 'not'.

oh god this is soooo simple. make sure that you download a large amount of lesbian porn or chicks fingering themselves and then put them in a folder entitled DO NOT OPEN. providing she uses the PC. if not listen for coming down the hall or whatever and be making out with Mrs. Palmer infront of some lesbians or the adult channel. or better yet make ur desktop a topless or even better naked, shaven ACTUAL chick
That is all

You're telling me you're so old that you've never heard young people people call their friends gay, no matter how much the person says they are not? They're trying to get the person to 'give in' to something they are not. Thats peer pressure in a different sense.

Heck, even older people do it.

"Are you gay?"

"No, of course not"

"Oh, yes you are! You are sooo gay!"

"No, i'm not!"

"Why don't you just admit it, why don't you admit you are gay? You know you are. Isn't he? Isn't he gay?"

"Yes... he is!"

"*NO* I am not! **** YOU!"

I'm sorry but this is stupid. If someone insisted that you are gay are you just going to up and switch from pussy to ramming it up a dudes shitter? Think about the enormous logistical jump, not to mention complete lifestyle contradiction.

It's obviously purely genetic. You can make the case that a persons environment can influence them to become more effeminate or whatever, but an actual physical attraction is a primal insinct. You don't get to coerced into it by bullying, and certainly not at the age where this would even come up.

What a queer.

I cant believe I'm hearing this ...are you trying to tell me that if I bugged you enough you'd sleep with another man?

ahem, ......... Raziaar I truely believe you'd be happier if you had mansex with gh0st cuz he's an angry dood and needs some man luvin'

so if I say it enough times you'd do it?

I dunno, lots of emo kids think it's cool to be bisexual or gay and so they pretend to be (convince themselves even) even if they aren't.

I've seen it, damn they were embarrassed afterwards.

How about I give out the man sechs.

Then everyone would be happy.

No... i'm saying that if you bugged somebody(not me, i'm very confident in my straightness) enough, you might make them question themselves. THats not always a good thing.

I can't believe you've never heard people try to insist to someone else that they're gay, when they say they're not.

Here's the simple solution to all your problems:

Step 1: Download a whole shit-load of porn.
Step 2: Let your Mom catch you...uh...observing it.
Step 3: Problem solved.

sure I have but those people are either telling the truth or they're lying ...no amount of harrassment is going to make their decision for them

have you ever met a gay person? ...they're people like you and I you know ...if you truely believe nothing would ever make you switch sexual perference then what makes you think they're any different

ya but they were experimenting ...I'm sure that little experience re-affirmed their own sexual identity. Just because you commit the act doesnt mean you are homosexual ...sex is not the only aspect of being gay, just like sex is not the only factor in being straight

well, they flaunted it for a while, it was more of a statement than anything else... not necessarily experimenting. it's just the thing to do for emo kids.

What the hell are you talking about Stern? You're trying to make me appear like some sort of ignorant monster or something.

I have gay friends. *I HAVE GAY FRIENDS*. I have gay friends. How many times do I need to say that before you understand that I know they are normal people, who I am friendly with? All my gay friends are female, however.

I think nothing would ever make me switch sexual preference, because guys are nasty. lol. However, women are good looking and beautiful, and i've seen women express some interest in one another after experimenting with a kiss. How do you explain bisexuality? Are you either bisexual, or not? No... you gain interest in the opposite sex.

In my younger years, I guess you could even say I was 'confused'. But I'm not, anymore.

that's pure conditioning and goes to show that you are not in fact completely sure of your sexuality.

see, theres nothing in male nature to be repulsed by other males, there's just no attracting (for heterosexual males, I mean). so you shouldn't think other guys are nasty, you just don't want it. society has taught you things that are so deeply imprinted that they feel like emotions, though. im not saying that if a dude walked up to me and pulled out his wang, i would just look at it and say hi, but there's no instinctive repulsion. it's more of a wtf dude im not interested.

i'm completely heterosexual, but i've got no problem hugging my guy friends whether they're gay or not.

sex in general yes but I'm talking about the act itself:

"Sexual behavior, or sexual activity, differs from sexual orientation and alone does not define someone as an LGBT individual. Any person may be capable of sexual behavior with a person of the same or opposite sex, but an individual knows his or her longings—erotic and affectional—and which sex is more likely to satisfy those needs."

not only does your mom think you're gay now Teta but probably a good chunk of these forums think so too

Well i'm not repulsed by them in friendship terms. I think they make great friends. I'm repulsed by them when I think of them attractively or sexually. lol

I thought I discussed this in GREAT length in another thread?

the reason I asked was because you seem to think they think differently than heterosexuals

oh and every teen experiments with their sexuality ...doesnt have to be physical nor does it have to be sexual orientation specific

no i mean the thought of sex with a guy shouldn't make you go UGH GROSS, you should just not be interested. it's not like something you're born to think is disgusting, there's no evolutionary purpose for it to be that way. you just don't want it.

"Just F*cking Great- HalfLife2.net thinks I'm gay"

and for the last f*cking time:

What'd you expect? I'm not ridiculing you a bit, but did you think that a bunch of immature teenagers and older people on an internet forum are going to really give a shit and empathize with your regrettably shitty if amusing situation?

When did I insinuate what homosexuals think like?

I was talking about straight people nagging the people about their sexuality.

I can safely say I am naturally turned off by the idea of it. I wasn't subjected to anti-gay rhetoric growing up.

If you somehow expect me to believe that gays are born gay, then surely you could expect somehow that somebody would be born with an exceptional disinterest towards the same sex. I guess you could even call it pheramones, where some people are attracted to them... yet others are aggrivated etc by them.

Oops. Sorry for the double post. Didn't remember entering the first one.

well i thought some of you might find it funny (I would if I weren't me ) but it didn't think the whole f*cking forum would start gay-flaming me.... I mean c'mon, you guys even gave Garfield a little advice...
http://www.halflife2.net/forums/showthread.php?t=78145 well, kinda lol

here's some advice.

do not become the next garfield.

damn right it is.

and that means don't post a thread next week saying

"Hey guys. My friend's mom caught him pretending to be gay with his friend or something. What should he do? This is NOT ME, it's him."

I am writing a story about someone who has a mother who thinks he is gay...

ROFL don't worry I think this is about over anyway. My mom finally "got over it" or something and now she believes me. Except now instead of gay, she thinks I'm an immature pervert.
Well, I guess it's a good trade-off lol

Oh quit picking on Garfield. I don't care if its fun :-P

Except now instead of gay, she thinks I'm an immature pervert.

I'll agree with her there.

you came to the right place, only the community isn't as supportive as it was before. Anyway i'm glad your mom doesn't think you're gay anymore... crazy ass mothers.

That sounds very interesting.

I once read a story about someone who has a mother who thinks he is gay.

The thing is: She was right.
