Least Favorite Band and Genre

Least favorite bands : Anything in said genres, obviously.
Least favorite genres : Ska, Punk, Pop, Techno, and Emo if it's even really a genre.
 
Least Favourite Bands: Simple Plan, Good Charlotte, 50 Cent, Eminem, all of that crap...

Least Favourite Genre: Rap, RnB... please let this generation of bullshit be over.

I'd hate rap more, but I actually like a bit of what it has to offer. No retarded gangster rap or crunk or whatever the shit other people listen to, I pretty much stick to Kanye West and a bit of oldschool Enimem.

Vikram: Music without lyrics is still music, but lyrics without music are just poetry :p
 
Country, the english language falls short in expressing how much I hate it.

Rap (Retards attempting poetry), RnB, Pop, emo, modern eurodance/dance (Old eurodance still owns.) rock and stuff like that.

I'm not much of a classic rock fan either but I don't hate it as much as the others.

Limp Biskit, Britney Spears, 50 cent, Linkin Park, Eamon, Evanescence, Green Day, The Beatles (sorry, I respect what they did for rock music but I honestly don't like the music at all), those are the main ones for now. I'm sure the list will grow as new "artists" enter the music world.

I forgot to mention my least favorite artist - Mariah Carey.

Every single one of her 'songs' sounds like a walrus' mating call.

I hate indie. Well, around 95% of indie anyway. Boring, clanky guitar parts, same lame arse beat over each song and a singer, who funnily enough, can't sing for shit. There are a few indie bands I can tolerate though.

Least favourite band? My Chemical Romance without a doubt. Emo punk is nothing new but they are seen as revolutionary by the majority of morons on this planet... and as for their new album being compared to the likes of Queen....

I cant stand celine dion, britney spears, christina aguilera, boy bands, girl bands, new country, patriotic country, bad/pop rap (the guy with the stupid bandaid on his face), bliink182, jock rock etc

At least James Blunt writes his own music. He's not in the same league of badness like Aguilera/Spears and Westlife. He's an easy target though since his songs are so soppy.
 
well that and the fact it's played over and over and over again ..at first the song isnt that bad but after the 30th listening it starts to grate on the nerves

7)all Punkish emo rock (what ever happened to Jimmy Hendrix type rock eh?)


most hated band is: G-unit or any rap band, the late nsync, backstreet biyz, all boy bands, any poop bands. :x
 
I have never enjoyed any emo music but have enjoyed listening to at least one song from every other genre of music. Emo's pretty shit.

This isn't a dig at you, but I don't understand why everyone says they hate country music. What do they hate? There are so many different styles of country, it's absurd to just say you hate them all. And if you've never heard a country song that's changed the genre you haven't been listening to much country music. What about Bill Monroe, who practically single-handedly invented bluegrass? And Jimmie Rodgers? Most 50's rock and roll music was derived from Country as well. Elvis Presley? I'm not particularly a huge fan of country music, it just annoys me that most people dismiss it as the genre it's ok to hate without really listening to it first.
 
I can honestly and safely say that I hate ALL country music.
 
Simply have to turn the radio off when The Streets come on. For god sake, brits cant rap!!! especially with that stupid most-annoying-accent-ever accent!!
 
Hate: McFly, crappy pop-rock.
Hate: Limp Bizkit and other assorted Fred Durst. Why doesn't this guy just go away?
Hate: Indie Music.
Hate: Paris Hilton!!!!! The most constructive thing she's done is bring a whole new meaning to the term "bad music".
Hate: Dance Musik, HOW CAN PEOPLE LISTEN TO THAT GARBAGE!?
 
There's plenty of awesome country music. Just gotta look for it. And there's many subgenres to look into like alt. country with bands like Wilco and Uncle Tupelo.
 
Every form of rock, punk, country, pop, metal, rap and everything that perhaps combines two or more of those genres. Something just unclicked. I don't even find myself caring for Radiohead anymore.

Listen to something that isn't one of those. Try some Autechre, Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, or Boards of Canada. You need something fresh.

I still hold that the only real genre of music that simply can not stop sucking is country. At least there are some interesting rap and pop songs still being released.
