Animal rights groups do not do it, just some ignorant assholes, and they do it because they are ignorant assholes. And I have no idea how much the dog was, but I am guessing it was a lot. It was the daughter of a dog that won best in class at westminster.

the vet said that she will keep needing those and some shots that give her blood-producing cells.

ear, eye medication, special diet food cuz of skin problems, pills for skin problems, pills for infections, monthly anal expressing, etc etc etc
