Lost Season 4

Just watched the other half that I didn't watch last night. I got so many questions now. Ummmm so when is the fifth season starting? Also God puts people under tests and Michael completed his test. It's almost like Stephen Kings "The Stand". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Stand I swear that something is linked with the island with the whole good and evil bit. I just know that G-Man is using his powers for bad things as well and overall, abusing them but somehow avoids control of Jacob and Christian. Almost like the "intergalactic sinister alien beaurocrat, the G-Man". Arn't we supposed to find out about the 3 toed statue? SO MANY QUESTIONS!!!

Re Jin: He may be dead, but if so then Michael's telling him to leave, and his final few seconds freezing the bomb were meaningless. It wouldn't be the first time that something seemingly significant has turned out to be ultimately meaningless, but hopefully Jin may still be around. Sun's new determination adds to that hope (reminded me of what eventually happened with Rose finding Bernard). I believe Michael is 100% dead however - Christian's 'you can go now' was undoubtedly a way of saying that the island was revoking him of his immortality powers, after having saved him from a couple of loaded guns in the past. SIDE NOTE: the way Sun told Michael she was pregnant has implanted me with the crazy suspicion that it was his... But then again maybe not.

My thoughts as well. I felt the writers were trying to make some chemistry between Michael and Sun in the first season, but then it never really went anywhere.

While Michael's death seems fairly certain, I kind of hope he isn't, if only because I wanted to see how Jack, Sawyer, and so many others would have reacted to his return. His double-homicide just hasn't been a big deal, and I think there should be more time to explore that dynamic.

Edit: Bah, I just read that he's actually gone for good. Meh. Otherwise a fantastic episode, even if I thought Locke was just a bit too buddy-buddy with Benjamin after he just supposedly killed everybody on the boat.

Good wrap up to the season. They had a lot to pack in so it was a little rushed, but they covered most of the bases fairly well. I noticed that there was a rather acerbic interview in TV guide with Harold P about his characters Death, where he complained a lot about being killed off (again) and everyone up in arms about it (because he plays the race card in it). However I'm not entirely sure the writers & Harold aren't having some between season fun, and playing on our assumptions. Given it demonstrated a few times that Michael couldn't be killed, it might be fair to assume the bomb was never going to go off whilst Michael was stood near it (the freezing was distraction in effect). Jacob turns up to tell him he can go. Next shot bombshakkalakka. Is it that because Jacob released him of his bond to the Island and allowed the bomb to explode, or is it that Jacob moved him away from the boat, so the bomb could go off instead?

Kind of crazy I know, but the lack of Walt/Michael reunion/reconciliation is a big issue, plus LOST wouldn't be the first show to pull off a sleight of hand in this manner. I'm kind of hoping it's a bluff as I like the new michael tbh.

Just watched the season finale, it was awesome! Loved to see all things connecting like a puzzle, we got a lot of answers, but of course also tons of new questions.
I was so happy for Des, he is my fav character, glad he was ok. I'm very curious to see how will they make the 5th season, this was like a chapter in Lost that was closed.

Did someone noticed Ben with the crowbar :D He reminded me of Gordon:LOL:

Yea I've never noticed a HL reference on Lost before but that crowbar tunnel scene may well have been one.

Great finale, I'm still shocked. Episode was full of very strong moments, Others vs. mercs, Sawyers jump, explosion, Desmond and Penelope reunited...
Now I feel terrible about John. ;( Hope Daniel is fine.

What?

LMAO! We have the G-MAN, crowbar, and even the woman who voiced Mossman 2 weeks ago appear on the show. :p Hurley said to Walt that they are lying and it's to protect his dad who is on the island. Now Hurley saw the boat explode with Michael supposedly on it. Hmmmmm :naughty: Btw what was up with the weird bird in one of the finale scenes in the second season? Sawyer saw it and it was huge. Reminded me of a Pokemon in fact. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcHaa6PbKsw Gun didn't work neither. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DgjreYvrAWM&feature=related *Hey I love this fansite. They listed 2 alternate endings on last nights finale: http://www.lost-media.com/

I suppose you've never seen the creepy G-Man wannabe. In one episode he was even dressed the same as the G-Man was in EP2, black suit and red tie. lol

And there was that episode that some kids were playing HL and one of them says "use the crowbar" or something. Probably this scene with Ben is no reference at all, its just my HL fan mind imagining things:LOL:

They said the island would move, and it did, but did it moved only geographicly, or also in time?

There are two G-Man wannabes, actually.

Not kids but Arabian terrorists. :D
Guy in the teleportation lab picked up a crowbar and creators are Half-Life fans. It's quite obvious.

My guess about Season 5 is that we will learn about civilization what inhabited the Eyeland long time ago, creators of the Statue, Ruins and that wheel cave. That's probably why Charlotte was sent to the Eyeland.

Hanso Exposed (LOST related)

This is canon to the story of LOST. There is a viral website called hansoexposed.com. Now there are a bunch of viral fragments that can be viewed on youtube and it fills in lot's of plot holes. All these fragments can be put together though to see the entire video. Like what is the Hanso Foundation or DHARMA initiative? Why did they want to take it down? Who took it down? All these questions and more are answered. Here are all the fragments put together: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PPCCcXarkc

It's very old. It was related to storyline for second or third season. Now it's time for the behalf of the DHARMA Initiative - OCTAGON.

Holy shit, what a finale. Wow.

Also, Red Shirts/background cast being ferried to boat = obvious consequences. :p

More in depth speculation later!

I wasn't really counting recent things, thinking more along the lines of before ep. 2 since that was what ep. 2 commentary disussed. I payed much less attention to the show back then though. Although for the sake of argument, Michelle Forbes isn't a HL reference. She's an actress, and she filled a necessary small role for the show. I don't have any idea what crowbar you're talking about, unless you mean the one from the finale. I did forget Alper though.

Forgot him. Already said.

Must've not been paying attention.

Jin is still alive.

He has to be.

Also... Psyduck makes me laugh.

Oh lordy, what a finale. Also, for some inane reason, my favourite part:

Ben: Couldn't find the [flower], could you?
Locke: I don't know what they look like!

Doesn't sound as funny when I type it out but the way it was acted made me lol.

It was pretty strange how all the redshirts and the crew on the freighter didn't attempt to get to the chopper. I mean, if someone yelled that the ship was about to blow up I would wanna get away from it as wquick as possible, not just running around it like crazy sheep. It's also strange how Jack ignored all the people on the freighter to save himself and Kate. I guess he's only a hero for the main cast. Also, what Jack says to Kate a few episodes back, "[Sawyer] choose to stay on the island, I'm the one who saved you!" seems very douche-like now.

The Sun flashback was strange. If she's gonna blame anyone for Jin's death, it should be Widmore. I hope this is just an elaborate plan of her to kill Widmore. I think her blaming Ben would make the most interesting plot, but it doesn't make sense that she would be ignoring Widmore's part in it. Maybe she's playing the two against eachother and have them both killed.

It was interesting how the reason for the O6 was releaved. We all thought they did it to protect the people on the island, but in reality they did it to save their own skin. (If Widmore learned that their story would destroy his cover-story, they would be in much trouble).

For those interested, here's the status of everyone right now:

Off Island:
Jack
Kate
Sayid
Hurley
Aaron
Sun
Walt
Desmond
Frank
Ben
Locke (?)

On Island:
Locke
Sawyer
Juliet
Claire
Bernard
Rose
Charlotte
Miles
Richard and The Others

Unknown:
Jin
Michael
Dan

So the Orchid Station was probably built around a meteorite made of exotic matter that hit the island.
Like this image when I first went "wtf that looks like a meteorite crater.....could this be the location of where the meteorite blasted the dinosaurs off Earth!?!":

Great finale. When the camera was moving in to reveal the content of the coffin I was like "who's that dude, am I supposed to kno- wtf it's LOCKE!" He looked kinda... bulky, that's why I didn't recognise him immediately.

For a split second there, I thought it was Charles Widmore.

Likewise, people look kind of weird when they are lying down. Over at DarkUFO they have footage of the alternative endings that were shot of that scene:-

Good site for all things lost if you don't have it already.

So I was reading on wikipedia on Mr. Eko and made me remember a few things. After Eko was slammed around by the monster and Locke found him, he said "you're next" to Locke. Do you guys think that smokie got pissed off in failing to secure the island and letting some survivors go so it went apeshit? Locke is the only person who confronts the thing too. Locke did say to Jack that some "very bad things happened after they left".

No, he whispered something into Locke's ears. Someone asked Locke and he replied to him "He said, 'We're next.'"

That's what Locke said to the Survivors. That's not what Eko said.

Okay, I'm finally caught up and god damn it my head hurts.

**** this show.

Awsome finale, I mean wow, things are really getting interesting now.

But

how dare they kill Locke, but how the hell did he end up where he was. And something tells me than Jin aint dead, a gut feeling

Cannot wait for the next season.

Remember in the Dhrama* tape about the Rabbit, it was still there but it disappeared for but a moment, well, something tells me the island was still in the same spot, it just didn't stay in the same time.

This probably mean that Desmond lies to Charlie last season about seeing Claire and Aaron get on a helicopter. If the flash was even further into the future, Aaron wouldn't be a baby.

Ahh but from what I recall he just says Claire and Aaron, so this could mean in the future when he is older, since Claires fate is largely ambiguous.
