Anyone want to explain how Ben and Sayid be assassins in the future if Ben blew himself to bits in the Orchid?
Jeez, have you seen any episode before? He teleported himself to Sahara Desert and contacted Sayid in Iraq.Anyone want to explain how Ben and Sayid be assassins in the future if Ben blew himself to bits in the Orchid?
Or was he? :OWell of course Christian isn't actually Jacob, because Christian was still alive in the world while Ben was communicating wi9th Jacob on the Island before.
I'm starting to think that the Black Rock didn't crash into the island... but that the island crashed into the Black Rock.
Well, we can't really say that Christian is alive. :?
But he was holding Aron. So some sort of manifastation does take place.
Nope.Maybe something (Jacob?) is just using his physical body - it's not Christian himself, just his body with a different mind.
Locke: Are you Jacob?
Christian: No. But I can speak on his behalf.
Locke: Well, who are you?
Christian: I'm Christian.
Maybe it's the smoke monster posessed/took on the form of Christian, like it appearing as Eko's brother or as Walt when Locke got shot.
I like the Island-Tunisia connection.
1. Ben ended up in Tunisia after moving the island.
2. The polar bears that Charlotte found in Tunisia were obvious from the island (and probably used by Dharma to turn the donkey wheel)
3. The Nigerian drug plane (with Eko's brother) flew through Tunisia on it's way to Europe, and that's how it ended up on the island. (I mean, why and how could it be in the South Pacific otherwise?)
Nope.
I just wish we could have watched lost from beginning to end as the writers intended it all to be. So many characters have been written out as active players because of things outside the writers control. Things like Ana Lucia and Libby, and Mr Eko...
I just wonder how the series would have been like if everything was able to be left intact as originally intended.
Intressting.
Question thou. Did Desmond ever get to talk to Clair, give her the list and Aron the ring? It feels like the strike made the show miss out on some intressting story elements.
Raz.
I think one has to accept that beyond the most broad story arc concerning the nature of the Island (wild guess it's the island of Atlantis), the original writers never (Lindelof & Abrams) mapped out the entirety of the show in terms of characters and their story arcs, or the full events. That's why the show is still full of holes on certain issues, like Rousseau claiming never to have seen the others (for 16 years), or the continued Dharma drops, or why Smokie killed the pilot, etc etc.
Personally much as I love LOST I'm also secretly kind of looking forward to when it's re-imagined 20 years from now and the dross gets ironed out (Jacks Tattoos, Sayids romance with Shannon, going nowhere story of Walt, etc etc)
