The two struggled until they ended up in the living room, where Alvarez grabbed a Wii controller, according to the affidavit. He put his knees on her chest to pin her down and strangled her with the cord of the video game controller, according to the affidavit.

Not only is this crazy because he choked her with a Wii controller, but I knew this guy kinda well, heck he went out with my cousin. Pretty funny that it all started because he ate all her girl scout cookies, hahahah.

I guess this is what you would call a Hard Core Gamer.

Hah, hah, HAAAAA

What, she isn't even dead? Guess he didn't waggle hard enough.

The Wii is such a gadget. Sure, it's fun to bowl, golf or to strangle someone the first time, but are you really gonna do it much after that?

I'm so very glad that she's alive. Not just because a life's a life, but because it means we needn't feel remotely guilty about discussing it with a gentlemen's-club jollity.

He's probably gonna be pretty choked up about facing such a prison sentence. It must feel like he's completely losing control of his life.

Indeed, he would have been choking back tears had she died - why throttle a long-term relationship? It's a sad day when a man fauces his lady-friend like this.

Well, frankly it just irks me that little incidents like this are even considered noose.

We all have our hang-ups, but you don't need to be highly strung to consider this piece as fixating.

He looks like a woman.

He certainly looks like someone that would try to choke a chick with a wii controller.

Her getting angry about the cookies is reasonable though, anyone would want to get that off their chest.

You heard it, girl scout cookies promote violence...

I think my friend said it best, since he knows both of them a bit more than I do:

I think if he read that blotter article, he would piss himself with laughter. Danny was always the kind of guy that figured if he was going to go down, he might as well go down with style, and that's exactly what he did.

He was a gamer who got a big laugh out of stories like these. I bet he's proud to top them.

And I think the charges will be dropped by Chris. If Danny wanted to, he could have killed her, but he didn't. He's not a wimp as you would assume coming from a Wii-related article. Besides, knowing them, this will be them closer together than ever.

You know, I'm glad that someone finally made good use out of that sad excuse for a game console.

She probably has a lot to get off her shoulders now.

I lol'd at this thread. Not because of the puns, or the story, but because this could have happened to the OP's sister. LOL
