Then you'll likely be in for quite a shock. MGS3 was a good game, but doesn't really hold up to the MGS standard set by 1 and 2. I really liked the whole plot that introduced us to what "made" Big Boss, but that was about it. MGS2 had better gameplay and MGS1 was the granddaddy of them all.

But back to MGS4, if you read any of the previews, it's pretty clear that this will wrap up the Snake plot line and Kojima basically threw everything-and-the-kitchen sink into this game. I honestly can't see how this won't surpass 3.

What does that have to do with anything? I made a point, just because X amount of people shares an opinion doesn't make that opinion correct.

it doesn't make it wrong either. It's an opinion. and it's an opinion of a game series, and can't be compared to genocide. Well, unless you are talking about one of MY favorite games. :P

Very excited to get my hands on this one. Are there going to midnight sales like for GTA IV? I have not heard of anything yet, but I have not really been listening either....
 
There won't be any midnight sale for most of stores. I've heard only few stores are having the midnight launch.

Also I still haven't received that PS3 with mgs4 from you, what gives son.
 
Haha, i would do it. But i dont want to be rude. Oh and btw, would it be better to have him sign a unopened MGS4 like on the plastic wrap or take off the wrap and have him sign the box itself. What do you think will be best?
 
True, just thought about how its still sealed, even with the shrink wrap off.
