I was going to mention that it looked exactly like Shadow Moses when you see it at the end of MGS. I thought maybe it was coincidence, but it would take the MGS games full circle, which would be cool. I trust Kojima will do right by us.
It's Kojima. He had Meryl in her underwear in MGS if you got to her cell fast enough. Also, one of the ways to improve your psyche is by looking at pictures of attractive women in magazines. So, a little fanservice in the beginning is nothing. And certainly nowhere near what will be in the full game.
All the gameplay footage I've seen so far from TGS have something in common, the people that are playing are all idiots, Kojima gave snake a plethora of new CQC and stealth moves, and we have these "experts gamers/reviewers" sent to Tokyo from all the corners of the world shooting and running erratic and also running away from the enemy while they are shot in the back, no strategy, no cool CQC, no nothing, just running in the streets in the middle of a firefight Good old american Rambo-way , poor snake, all those cool moves for nothing...
Agreed, those videos were embarrassing. Last I checked, everyone's play experience is vastly different. So what if the guy playing sucks? At least you get to see how it looks ingame and how well it functions. That's the important part. How it actually plays is up to you.
