Miscellaneous

Today I learned how to program a DCU for a multi-level progressive, learned how to program the machine interface boards for this system, and learned that a new contender has been writing software for some Bally games, which is, I believe, the first to display the SMI number in the accounting menus. ('bout frickin' time!)

Approximately 0% of the people here understood more than seven words in that paragraph.

Confusion reactor up at 110% and rising, Captain!

He mis-spelt Bali amirite?

Honestly HOOwhat?

You can't have a pie without cool-HOOwhip!

Whoever thought up the word miscellaneous anyways?

I've noticed that my lenses appear to have something etched into them...

It looks like this. Do you think something like this would be natural made, or do you think it was purposely put there for whatever reason? It's in the top right of my left glass lens.

It looks like a perfect lowercase b with a tilde, and there is a circle around the tilde.

Oh my garsh, I can't stop playing the Blue Danube Waltz! I'm infected with this classical music and can't stop! French horns... so beautiful! What's happening to meeee!!

Maybe its the manufactures stamp to say that company made it?

That's what I was thinking... since it looks a little bit too ordered and perfect(other than the circle part around the tilde isn't a perfect circle, rather an ellipse.

I can only see it when the light is reflecting on it in a certain way, and when I'm up close, unlike another scratch on my glass that I assume is much deeper near the bridge that i can see without any extra light reflection.

Classical's pretty cool, I have some in my YouTube favourites. Listening to 1812 Overture right now, infact.

With all those scratches i think its time for you to get new glasses.

It's kind of freaking my wife out. I pulled out an old vinyl record of Bolero by the Boston Symphony and played it. I think that's the first time I've heard an oboe played like it should be.

Only the one scratch really. I don't even know how I got it. It doesn't impair my vision... and I know because I'm extremely anal about my view being obstructed with my glasses... I religiously clean them so they are perfectly clear. I can't tolerate dust or grime on them.

My friend is speaking to me again!
Then found out the name of this uber-cute girl in my gym class as she was all talking to me; only after getting nailed in the balls with a soccer ball.

Yes I am!

And don't worry, now she knows that you're a real man.

I am drinking a 100% mango puree, and it is ****ing fantastic.

Nothin' but fruit, it's like a meal.

Changed my signature. Sometimes when I watch King of the Hill the quotes amuse me.

getting drunk and walking around suburbia at four in the morning barefoot smoking cigarettes is an incredibly pleasant experience

I only ever clean my glasses properly (with handwash and water usually) when the lenses are so greasy I can't see anything at all. Otherwise I just give them a wipe on my T-shirt if they're just a little bit greasy.

New sig, lyrics from Going Wrong by Armin Van Buuren, DJ Shah, Chris Jones.

Such an epic song.

Joseph Abboud is the brand for my glasses.

The thing is though, the lenses aren't made by the frame designers.

I never use soap to clean my glasses. I rinse them with fast moving water, and then I dry them off, rubbing them with a clean 100% cotton t-shirt. I don't use those eyeglass cloths as I find those to be inferior to a clean cotton t-shirt.
