i wouldn't like to do that.. I would be constantly thinking "what if they check my IP and cancel my account?" Plus you can't have any real discussions about what's on TV or happening locally...

They could'nt ban you on IP alone...not when they have said they will let americans that travel to connect to US servers from any PC on the planet :p. They could ban you if you started blurting out your not american and stuff though, because you broke the rules by entering false billing information.

people who preordered from GAME have already got theirs apparently.

those who ordered from gameplay will probably get theirs next week, as gameplay get the preorder kits from 16th-18th and they've said they'll send it out on the same day or shortly after.

will be playing by christmas hopefully :D
 
My friend plays WoW way too much. He's already level 55 on the Alleria server.

yep, i saw that too. rather annoying... but hey, blizzard aren't exactly like Valve, it COULD come out early. maybe. hopefully........OK, so it won't, but we can still have fun TWIDELING OUR THUMBS in the meantime :D:D:D

Thats insane.

IMO i think thats just kinda rushing it, i mean i played the open beta for a couple of days, only about 1-2.5 hours max a day and the farthest i got was lvl 10.

Maybe im just slow but i dont want to become lvl 50 within the first 5 weeks of me playing it.

EDIT: whats the current highest lvl you can be?
 
I think world of warcraft and half life 2 are the only games im going to need for a long time.

The highest is 60. He's in the top 5 highest level people on the server I think. I forgot what he said he was ranked. He's already beginning to plan out his next character.

Gunner, you mentioned you were on Argent Dawn, that's an RP server right? how is it? you don't get fruity types coming up to you and explaining their character history while doing a little dance or anything? cos that'd really put me off joining an RP server. would you recommend it?

Well there aren't many true roleplayers, people just say "Hail" or "Greetings" instead of "hey" or "hello". That's about it lol :LOL:

It's not bad, but it's not what you would expect from an RP server.

Recently i've been feeling rather bored, despite the reason i have tons of games to complete.

Then i realised why... i wasn't playing WOW. This scares me... because if i am bored when NOT having WOW then i will be probally playing it ALL THE TIME when it comes out. and i mean ALL THE TIME. plus i played it almost every second of my time when the betas were out... Damnit, i hate blizzard for making such an addictive game.

Parents wont let me get the game for Christmas because my mum is crazy and doesnt understand how MMORPGs work. She thinks they take the money without you sayings its ok. I told her thats not how it works and she said she doesnt care its not happening. Lord some people are dumb as hell aren't they.

Maybe i should just get off my ass and get a job now. After all i'm gonna need a car as well.

my mum is internet dumb... but in completely the OPPOSITE way. She just presumes that anything i say is true :D but mind you, the only thing i've ever used her credit card for is a planetside subscription, plus about a dozen internet orders. Come to think if it, that's quite a lot.. especially as SOE screwed us over...
