You know if you PM an administrator, we can change your name if you give a good enough reason :)

Hmm... wonder if I could get the ^ removed :O

Name: Was for an old MMORPG I used to play, Graal. Means Lightning God in Japanese, but then most of my contacts knew me as it so I kept using it rather than my real name (Which I use in games, etc) so they didn't get confused

Avatar is me. (Or if it changes from now when read, it's something else:p It used to be a smilie hitting another one with a stick)

Icarus plunged to his doom for over-bearing ambition...
Sorry. Shouldn't go into it too much :)

el Chi: Shortened version of el Chihuahua which is, to be quite frank, a pain in the arse to type all the time. And a bit clunky. el Chi is stream-lined. Oooooh yeeeeah! <In a Duffman styleee>

Spongebob: Is amazing. And pwnz0rz Lenny any day, Edcrab! No matter what Sulk's interpretation may be :)

MarcoPolo: A fun game to play in the water..Hey there, no peeking....

What is that whole Marco Polo game?

Pretty much hide and seek in a pool

You have a bunch of players, and the person who is *it*

Person who is it, submerses him/her self under water for 10-20 seconds, hiders spread around in the pool...very quietly....

The *it* player comes back above water, with his eyes closed, and starts shouting *Marco*

The other players relay back *polo*, sort of like submarines pinging....Not everyone has to say polo, but eventually some one will...
The object is to tag another person, who becomes the next *it*

I used to play it a lot as a kid, was always a blast...

I have bad memories of marco polo. It always ended up with either someone crying. or the it person yelling marco and everyone else quietly slipping out of the pool, or rampid cheating

nice tread idea.

name: well it literally means role playing game programmer, I used to want to make one, I even started to make a diablo 2 D&D in Visual Basic, but when I couldn't get global variables to work I gave up(yea I know n00b), and I just kept it so i would always know my username.

av: well i wanted an avatar so i could easily spot my posts, but when I searched the internetz i found many that i liked, so i used image ready and combined them all.

sig: common comp sci phrase and look at the other part upside down and try and figure it out
its you lose upside down

for some reason my sig aint working so i recreated it here:

There are 10 types of people in this world, those that know binary and those that dont.

That's why you had someone watch to make sure no one was cheating :). Those who yelled Polo also got goggles so they could see if the person who was Marco was opening their eyes under water or not.

nick: A name I came up with, while making a team for worms 2.

ava: It's a mountain. Made with Terragen.

that mountain is nice congrats on your excellence

Name: I was thinking up of a name for another Yahoo! e-mail address and "MissingNumber" and "LostNumber" were taken. I didn't feel like coming up with anything very creative since I didn't have enough time so I put something random together and made, "TheNumbersAre". Apparently, I was thinking of numbers.

Avatar: I play NationStates.

Mechagodzilla represents a fairly comprehensive amalagamation of everything I consider great. Robots, dinosaurs, aliens, amusingly dubious films, japanese kitch, artillery, international co-operation, nuclear disarmament, peacekeeping, traditional effects (instead of CGI), mecha, design in lieu of fuctionality, and more.

Avatar: See above.

Signature: After the requisite self-promotion, for the EXCELLENT mod teams I'm working with, theres mostly politically-minded stuff to accompany my many forays into the 'politics' forum, and a convenient alert to anyone hunting down America-hating terrorist blue-state hippy pinkoes who hate America and its freedom.

My 150 dollar challenge, which was started as a five-dollar hypothetical wager and subsequently grew into what basically amounts to proof that a very signifigant portion of America's population does not use rationality when voting. Next is Jon Stewart's take on the "Lessons of 9/11" and, finally, some sound advice for the kids at home.

Made it up, then some chess player copied me. It happens, i guess..
