Damn camera. I took it all the way downstairs and the memory card was full. When I eventually cleared it, the batter went. I got about 15 seconds of footage, with some guy shouting "mother ****er" in the background. Thanks for the offer badger, but I have yo go now, gonna watch Fantastic 4 with some friends. I'll see if I can upload it later.
 
I saw some guy getting arested outside downing street on TV by armed police, he didnt have any bombs on him though.

Ugh. Looks like these dickheads failed big time. Glad that they'll be hunted down like animals, since they obviously can't even get it right. You can't hide forever, not with the huge investigation they have going down right now.

News is now that a rucksack is still on the top deck of the bus, full of explosives apparently. So it definitely was these pricks ballsing it up.

even if the capture them they could have missed dozens of other groups waiting to strike ...no amount of security will ever be enough ...funny thing is that cases of terrorism never rely on traditional detective work ...I mean why dont they find out WHY they're detonating bombs ...no motive has been established, even though in criminal investigations motive is one of the first things they try to discover
 
I'm sure that wouldnt make the administartion look good. Plus it would add some humanity to the bombers, something the government don't want.

I mean, they have to be pretty damn thick if they cant get one out of four to go off....
 
I'd like to think that whoever made the bombs for them sabotaged them. Though it might be more satisfying to think they're thick... I can't decide.

there was a report on one of the news sites about a guy with a backpack on that had a small explosion and then he started swearing... i'd've knocked the mofo over and laughed in his face, and then held him for police.. stupid f*cking terroroists, thank god they failed this time
 
Reports say that one bomber was seen running onto a train, dropping the bag and running off. Hardly sounds like a professional job.

My guess is that some people just filled a bag with fireworks or blasting caps or something, lit it and ran. I doubt the bombs were ever supposed to 'go off' with any appreciable force. What are the odds of four 'bombs' failing to go off?

Possibly, but how hard could it be to build a decent bomb? My bet is on this being a scare tactic instead of a real threat. Terrorist assholes a bit upset at their attack last week getting the contempt it deserved.

Yeah, the 6 o'clock news said they think the bombs were the same type of two weeks ago. So I was completely wrong.

So it looks like the detonators went off but the main explosive didnt. Maybe they diluted it to make it go further? Whatever happened, they obviously expected to die being that close to the bombs.

It's a terrible thing of course, but I bet the bombers face would've been funny when it didnt go off.

Well they've said they've detected acetone peroxide so it rules that out a bit. (not a chemical weapon, it's the solution made to make the bomb itself, big explosion, same one used in July 7th's bombings)

I dont care ...wtf can we have a discussion without my name coming up? everywhere I look there's references to what I say/do whatever in countless threads ...and in some of those topics I'm not even involved ...it's really getting annoying

This solution (acetone peroxide) can manufacture any amateur chemist (including me but Im profesional - chemist not terrorist). But its extremely dangerous and explosive.:flame:

They do it because they are mad and utter scum, there is no other explanation then how evil they are too explain why anyone would get on a school bus or a train full of innocent people and try to murder them all. It has nothing to do with oppression or anything like that, it is just mass murder, plain and simple.

If they were pissed off because of western foreign policies, they should do a political stand and if the worst comes to the worst, go after militaryt targets. Going after civilian targets just makes people want to strike back at them harder, which is the last thing they want.
