The 1 week left countdown movie is amaZing as well -although its really short, it shows of some incredible scenery.

They're Russian, they're not that super impressive, it's rather obvious quite a few of'em aren't running on maxed settings.:)
I can't wait for people to post comparisons of Oblivion running at the SAME res as the 360 vers, to see the major differences on maxed settings.

no ..where? this stupid helmet limits my field of vision ...oh and it doesnt help that my horse kicked me in the head this morning ...never EVER try to find out what gender your horse is when you have cold hands
 
christ in a sidecar, this game is going to be STUNNING - after this Bethesda will be to gaming what Peter Jackson is to film making. But not as hairy.


And after the giraffes *cough* horses in rome total war, finally a game that gets horses right.
Am I the only one seeing the fps starting to struggle there at the beginning though?

Is it just me or does the horse at the beginning of day 2 have no reigns? Even though the rider appears to have his arms in such a way that looks like he is using them. Looks out of place to me.

I wish they would fix the simple things like the characters snapping instantly when they change direction. They need to smooth things like that out.
 
Yeah, if you watch the trailers the character fluidity is still really bad, especially when it comes to walking around, turning, and bumping into other people (exceptions are the scripted meetings in towns).
 
me likes the horsies...I really don't care there's no reigns(sp?)

these horses are more clever than normal horses...you steer them with your thoughts...that's it, no need for reigns.

ok I agree slightly...that it's a bit odd...but really it's minor detail, nothing game breaking IMO.

Order a ton of Pizza, put a microwave down their, get a massive amount of soda, a ton of TP, and a big bucket and a slave to feed you and empty the big bucket.
 
I can't beleive I've never heard of this game...I ought to try it out.

I like the way they quick turn.

Many games I have played when you turn you lose frames pretty badly anyway. Other games do a "more realistic" turn but they end up looking foolish while they turn becuase their feet do this wierd tap dance and just never seem to move right.
 
When the worst thing people can find about these videos is a horse without reins, you know this game is going to be monumental.

The last time game trailers got to me like this was back in the HL2 E3 days... and that's saying something.
