Odd things you used to love to do as a child.

Once I put about 5 paper rolled up caps (you know the cap guns??) in a stack and slammed them with a hammer! that was loud...I had a ringing in my ears for an hour...probably scared the hell out of the neighbours.

ooo ooo i did that all the time lol.

Also used to rob construction sites and build awesome forts too.

and shoot up everything with BB guns

Mostly I used to steal everything. I was taught some neat tricks when i was very young, and pretty much was a master ninja lil kid. You wouldn't belive the shit I can do like magic tricks take things without even taking them

pretty much all i did was get into trouble.

Like i say, im what happens when a problem child is all grown up

I got to thank you for helping me remember all these things, i had totally forgoten! :) ..children are so innocent :|

I used to run in the living room and jump and smash the floor rolling
for some reason I liked doing that

I don't think I had any things I was really really stuck on doing except for pretending that I was a video game character. They included things like Sonic the Hedgehog, Mario, or Megaman. To the extent that thinking about just being myself actually seemed very boring and dull. That's what I would do anywhere I was if I wasn't actually playing them. I remember I had at least two small psychological tests during elementary school because they thought I had problems (not because I was running around preteting to be something, but I would always fantasize and daydream because I obviously couldn't move around and play and never listened to anything... at all.).

I'm sorry, the length of that was unnecessary. Meh.

I used to wear a sleeping bag whenever posible.

I used to build 'mobiles' with my older brothers when I was pretty young. You take a sleeping bag, lay it flat (slippery side down) at the top of the stairs, arrange some pillows in it for sitting, then everyone gets in and pulls the sides up. Then you scoot forward and slide down the stairs :D

We would do it over and over until we were too tired to climb the stairs, and fall asleep at the bottom with all the pillows and the sleeping bag.

Another thing we did was go in the garage on a chilly night, and put all our bikes on their sides, and pedal the bikes. We pretended we were making icecream. (I don't know, I guess it was like mixing the icecream)

Another thing we did was set up a bunch of army guys (little toy soldiers) up on the counter above the dishwasher. We would have it empty and pull the sections out. Then we would pretend the army guys were being executed and push them off, making them fall through the mesh, like a ragdoll.

And who could forget, everyones favorite, build cars out of Kinex and crash them together.

But the COOLEST thing we ever did had to be this: We took a long ball of string and would just go crazy with it stringing it everywhere around the hallway upstairs. We would tape it to the walls or wrap it around door handles, until we had a jungle gym of the string, all through the hall. Then we would try to crawl through it without touching the string :D

I wish I was a kid again :(

Holy crap, I used to do that! We'd say that it was like some sort of tripwire thing, and touching it would cause sudden death and/or the authorities to be called. Man, string was awesome.

One thing I used to love doing was collecting cardboard boxes and converting them into sorta-houses for my action figures. Toys you made yourself were always awesome - which is why I became a modder.

haha, i used to do both of these. sometimes i would use a laundry basket instead of a sleeping bag. or if i had a sheet of cardboard i would use it. eventually it would just turn into my brother and i sliding down the stairs beating the hell out of each other. good times, good times...

Eat cat food, drink gasoline.

I only drank gasoline once. It tasted good but my parents had to take me to the hospital and get my stomach pumped. Fortunately the only part of that I remember was the smiling nurse.

omg i forgot about taht! i used to always use sleeping bags!

SLEEPING BAGS RULE! :)

I hated Furbies, there was something so...artificial and commercial about them. My brother really wanted one, but thankfully, no Furby has ever violated the sanctum of my home.

heh that's awesome :D

Hey did anyone else have a Furby when they were younger? You know, those creepy fluffy talking animal things? I had a couple.. they were so much fun.. until they both went crazy (actually, they were more fun when crazy) and stopped working. I was obsessed with those things for a while. I'm seeing them in shops again now, and.. I want one :|
Ok trust me. They will ****ing kill you.

When I was 3 I ran ariound the house and shit everywhere.....:O And I loved Godzilla so much, I would make buildings out of pillows, etc. and destroy them, and I somehow got so much enjoyment out of kicking and hitting my best friends step dad in the balls every time I saw them. I want my ****ing childhood back!;(

This one time on a sunny day I made a big fire on my driveway with my magnifying glass. Then my dad came out and screamed at me. :|

I'm 15, and every time I go to New York every year to visit my cousins, we still stuff pillows in sleeping bags and slide down the stairs, as well as shut ourselves in a room at night, turn off the lights, and throw debris everywhere so we can play a game called The Blob in which someone has a sleeping bag over themselves and they have to tackle someone. Was it Shippi who mentioned once trying to build a cardboard suit of armor? Yeah, I made one last year.

.......... should I be ashamed?

Either way I don't care that much, because I love sliding down stairs in sleeping bags and playing The Blob whenever I go to New York. :D

Just as a note, we go over there after Christmas so there's snow (hitting toddlers on your sled and saying it was an accident! w00t!), and one time my brother got his lips stuck on a hugeass icecicle (how do you spell cicle?). It was funny as hell.

Hiding behind my couch and watch TV... (Wtf?) but it's true...

I used to take my stuffed animal cat and use it's tail as a painting brush on my wall. All it needed was spit and my parents had to repaint the walls every once in a while. I also used to do front flips (holding the side) off my couch, sort of, I really just kind of kept sliding until gravity pulled my legs over my head and I fell.

well i dont remember doing much out of the ordinary, i just sat on my ass and played NES all the time and wished i had friends, but this one time my little brother (he was like2 ) took a huge shit in his diaper and put his hands in it and put marks all over the walls, and i mean ALL over, and this other time he poured syrup all over. yeah he turned out to be a jock and im still a nerd with no friends, lol.

When I was 2-4 (somewhere in that range) I was digging around in the garden, and found several large beetles. Being a young child, I put them in my diaper and forgot about them. Cut to several hours later, when my mother is frantically trying to figure out why I'm crying hysterically. Eventually, she checks me to see if I've shat myself, and finds that I don't have worms- oh no, I have beetles.

Sofa forts were the shit man, I loved making those and just sitting in them all day with a box of cap'n crunch.

building stuff with lego (lego = pwnage)

and pretending I was a guy in the army with my friends.

I want my childhood back :'(
