When will this be open to the general public?
If it's not a problem, can you tell me the graphics options in the game?

Resolution, AA, AF, Shadow quality, trilinear filtering, hi-res textures, specular maps, there's a shader model option but it's forced at 1.1, which is rather annoying. Guess they're saving the good stuff for the full game.

you almost cried? i live in America, if the demo doesn;t come out on the damn internet soon I'm gonna have a mental breakdown, we have had a drought of good demos the last few weeks and I NEED my fix, now, I've already got the shakes from the deprivation

Pretty much the same as PT, except expanded a little. You've got to assign a few extra buttons to stuff like the electromagnetic goggles and swapping the gun from shoulder to shoulder. Whistling's still in, thankfully... well, I say whistling - he does other things like saying 'psst' and doing bird impressions and stuff, heh. I whistled once and a guard said "What is that? I like it!". He died soon after.

Backing up against walls is a lot smoother now, and you can do it to almost any object. Unfortunately though, you can't shoot round corners with the pistol any more.

Forward your 6881 through 6889 ports on your firewall to your local ip. This is the number 1 thing you have to do to have good speeds on torrents. I'm currently downloading ~60k. Having said that, this torrent will be slower then usual because at this point, there are only 2 seeds and 328 peers. It will speed up as people finish downloading.

Well, azeures says that there are 2 seeds in the swarm. I'm only connected to one but I'm not downloading from that one. People who connected to the seeds are probably the ones who first got the torrent and are downloading now. You can limit the amount of connections if you are a seeder. Therefore not everyone can be connected to a seed at the same time.
