Yeah, or perhaps it's because PCGUK is widely regarded as the better magazine. You don't have to feel so insecure about your precious country.DreadLord1337 said:Yep, Americans suck.

That was before Half-Life 2 showed them the light. Quake 4, probably developed before the release of HL2, never had time to innovate for what have clearly become higher standards.JellyWorld said:Except the critics actually liked Doom 3

Here's to Quake Wars.
To all the PCGUK folks, oh, who played it first? My bad.
TheSomeone said:Yeah, but what does that have to do with quake 4?
Quake Wars (if that's what you're asking about) is from the creators of Wolf: ET. It's using the Doom 3 engine to create a tactical multiplayer game based in the Quake universe (humans vs. strogg).ailevation said:Like I said, I was confused... to which one was the one everybody was anticipating.

Quake 4: No gameplay changes since Quake 2 (singleplayer) and Quake 3. (multiplayer)
When Doom 3 came out, the only reason I got it right away was because it came with Knights of the Old Republic for free. If a store has a similar deal for Quake 4, i'll get it. Otherwise, i'll wait until it's $30.
