I just exploded one of the blobs of glue holding this little metal wire i've had on the back of my mouth.

Thing is, my ortho is back in Hi, so I can't just call and be like "Oh hai I breaks dis waia on da bak of ma teefs".

I wanna just go and break this thing of completely. YES???

Dog-- only says that to you because he doesn't actually know you.

You should probably look up what will actually happen if you do it LOL

Depending on how well the other side is stuck on, it might hurt a lot to rip it off. So I'm gonna say NO and get a dentist to take it off.

Don't forcibly remove your bonded retainer. It won't work, for one. If it's really painful, get someone to very carefully cut the wire back to the previous glue-blob on the next tooth, with a small pair of wire-cutters. If that's not an option, bend the wire in so that it's not cutting up your mouth. Don't remove it all, and make an appointment with an orthodontist as soon as possible.
