Political Compass (again)

Lenin was an idiot.

Actually, that quote is completely true.

If there is a State, it must impart rules on its citizens. Rules limit freedoms. Therefore, when there is a State, there isn't true freedom.

If there is no State, then there are no rules, which results in absolute freedom.
[edit] And when Lenin says "freedom" he clearly means full freedom, not the freedom to do certain things but not others.

But to be fair, we do, always have, and always will exist in a society of absolute freedom. (Think about it.)

Yeah I realize that the quote actually made sense, I was more poking fun at the fact that he said "Even Lenin said"

Much like say Jehova's witnesses will come to the door and be like "Even Jesus said that..."

Ahh, gotcha.

Although I'm kind of disappointed now. I was expecting a heated debate :p

Hehe I can't debate if it's for the wrong side and the quote itself made sense.

It's why I suck at Debate Teams and in class where they assign you a side. If the side is wrong, I can't win.. because it's wrong! I end up shortchanging myself because I won't use points if I can find a suitable counter for them and I end up with nothing.

So who can make an accurate guess as to what mine is?

Some people would probably be surprised, but i'm not.

I'm pretty liberal when it comes to economics. I'm not by any means a supporter of big buisness.

LOL. What? I'm still a republican.

RakuraiTenjin said:
That's what the conservative fiscal stance protects :(

It doesn't have anything to do with being conservative or liberal, republican or liberal, really.

I just don't like big buisness, and the stuff that affects lower/middle class people like myself negatively.

My word, you're more commie-liberal than myself.

The leftist economic scale hurts the middle class most of all. Rich are taxed more heavily but can still live comfortably, middle class faces the heaviest burden with the tax bracket structure reminiscent of the 70s, poor make it out best survival wise but it generates further generations of poor and more and more.

I answered the questions truthfully on that thing... and thats where my poltical compass was at. <shrugs> its not about encompassing views that blanket many different subjects... its about individual things.

Cheat! Nobody does the test twice!

Seriously, if you're doing the test just to try and alter your results, it's not going to be terribly accurate anyway. Not that I think it is all that accurate.

I'm big time patriotic. Not insanely so, I won't applaud my government for doing horrendous acts of evil(no talk about iraq war, I don't think that is an evil war. It has many severe bad sides, but its not evil)... but I am very patriotic.

Note the :E, meaning my post was in jest :)

Some of these questions were hard to answer, the inablility to have no opinion in the matter made me have to choose the lesser of two evils. I took another one of these based on numerical ratings, and found myself in the IV quadrant. (right bottom, close the the origin) this one placed me in the II quadrant (left top, almost at origin once again). This questionare asked more business related questions, which is why I think I ended up in the more liberal moderate area. Like I said before though, I found some of the wording subtle and biased, biased not in political alignment, but biased to wording.

We just don't know whats good for the economy.

I mean, right side = good for economy, but what is right exactly?

You do realize that with an avatar such as yours, that post is filled with irony.

Am I the only one who scored a dead 0 on the X and Y scales, and a 10 on the z scale? The red dot was a foot in front of the monitor for me.

I am absouletly amazed at the amount of social libertarians and ecconomic lefties we have here.

I thought I was a nut case for thinking the way I do.

No all thats left to do is unite the people....

It's a funny thing that people so far left as some people here still think they're Liberal. Say it out loudly, say it out proudly: I am a Socialist! :D

I'm glad that someone saying that here is still viewed as a loon. Hehe. No offense, it may fit your country better, but thank God it won't take hold here.
