Political Compass

Economic Left/Right: -4.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.05

Your political compass
Economic Left/Right: -3.63
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.21

I don't put much stock in anything that assigns a number to your opinion, but it was an interesting time-waster anyway. Also it's cool that I'm close to Ghandi :) .

Economic Left/Right: -0.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.51

I have done this tons of times and always come out with something slightly different. It always seems to be somewhere on the smallest square around the middle of the graph though.

The idea of a two-scale political system is absolute genius. Honestly, if more people read about it and understood it, then they'd realise (for example) that the US Democratic party are neither lefties or liberals. And Iraq isnt a left/right issue either, its an authoritarianism/liberalism issue.

Also, it might be an idea to sticky this, so everybody can see where everybody else stands at a glance, plus newcomers could use it as a sort of 'welcome to the politics forum, do not feed the animals' thread.

I honestly dont think I'm that left wing, I consider myself to be more centrist. Then again, I did strongly agree with pretty much all the questions that suggested multinationals are a bad thing....

Economic Left/Right: -7.13
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -7.44
http://www.digitalronin.f2s.com/politicalcompass/printablegraph.php?ec=-7.13&soc=-7.44

I'm about +1 on authoritarianism and +1 right wing from the last time I did it.

Dual-axis ftw.

Economic Left/Right: -4.63
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.64

I think I should note that the latter scale is more important to me than the former.

How so? I mean, why and how much is it important?

btw, I'm surrounded by communistic liberals in this site. :(

:p

Tri-axial FTW (as I think they do in Nationstates).
It's pretty interesting.

Also I'd like to point out for "People with serious inheritable disabilities should not be allowed to reproduce." that everyone is a carrier of some form of serious genetic disability, so that would involve everyone being sterilised if you agree with that, or at least screening every couple's genes.

I got:
Your political compass
Economic Left/Right: -1.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.82

****. I said "stongly agree" on that. I was thinking of Emo kids, btw.

i found out that if you vote 'strongly agree' on everything, you get this:

Economic Left/Right: 0.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 4.36

Your political compass
Economic Left/Right: -4.63
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.00
so so wrong about the liberal part, I'm a lot more authoritarian.

0.00, 0.00

I'm right in the middle. Or I didn't take the test.

Ditto.

Thats why, for example, I don't like Hugo Chavez, even though I broadly agree with his economic policies.

I actually did it this time.

Your political compass
Economic Left/Right: -1.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.41

My earlier predition of centre was actually rather accurate.

Your economics match mine. Let's make Technocracy.

There should be a chart drawn out where everyone's position gets plotted.

Technocracy is more authoritarian, but I'd support it just for the scientists :D

Well obviously if I get into power, I'd quickly change towards the authoritarian end of the scale.

(-0.13, -4.87) (Ec/Sc)

I'm usually around (0,5) so it's about right.

Economic Left/Right: 0.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.08

dead center, down one notch

I'm not conservative or liberal, I swing both ways.

Economic Left/Right: -1.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.44

Economic Left/Right: -0.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.15

Slightly left of centre: just like the last time :|

I don't get how you guys can score so far left on economics. I TRIED to do it to skew it as far left economically as possible but with answers that make a LITTLE sense but it doesn't work. I have to choose the craziest ones in order to get that.

Economic Left/Right: -4.63
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.67

Economic Left/Right: -7.63
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -7.74

i'm sickening, aren't i?

i'm anarchist scum.

You can't be anarchist and be -7 economic. That's extreme regulation if not all out state control and the opposite of anarchy.

Economic Left/Right: 0
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.74

I dont actually remember.. but it was something like that

edit:
Economic Left/Right: -1.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.90

I was close

And I'm with RT.. how the hell are you guys getting so far left on the economics XD

Economic Left/Right: 4.38
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -7.33

I'm anarchist, didn't need a test to tell me so. Didn't like some of the questions as they apply to the scale.

By the way I only believe in one scale:

Anarchy ----------- Totalitarianism

The further down the social scale you go, the smaller the government gets - therefore in Ennui's case (ie Anarcho-syndicalist i'm guessing) its all local, voluntary collectivism. Read the articles on the site, it explains it pretty well.

Voluntary collectivism is still free market though - because it's voluntary.

You are all commies..... Except RakuraiTenjin, I am the only sane one....

Although OvA, Ikerous, Sainku, Kirovman seems to be getting out of teh axis of EVIL.
