You didn't remember a time you didn't believe in god, but thats changed now.
 
I keep waiting for this magical thing to happen to my life where I suddenly believe in God. A bunch of people have told me, "yeah, I used to be an atheist. You're young" what the hell does that mean.

It's not like I picked up atheism at the lunch table. My father never really talked about religion at all- he always explained things the most realistic way possible. I remember asking him about a war or something that happened in the past, "Who were the good guys?" and he said "There's never a good or bad side. One soldier thinks his way is right, the other thinks his way is, too." and that kind of just reinforced every conclusion I came to about religion, morals, and... everything.

Logically, it's impossible for God to exist. I mean, I'm all about believing in whatever you want to believe- it's one of the strongest things a person can do. If your conviction is there, there's noone that can tell you differently. That goes for all beliefs and ideologies.

Yea I know what you mean man, I live in the heartland of fundamentalism chrisitianity and it ****in sucks. A guy who lives next door told me god mailed his friend checks for thousands of dollars when they went bankrupt. According to him I'll "get it" one day. What the ****? seriously if god can do something like that, yet he does nothing for the children born with huge ass tumors on their heads everyday...give me a ****in break...

I'd have to point out the old theory that their trying to revive. The multiverse. Supposedly, if a time traveler goes back and (you know know the story, kills grandfather) then he come back, the universe will still be the same, and an alternate universe would be made. Well, what is the drive and/or motivation that makes a universe realizes it has to become two and keep the original. What intelligence directs universes to split?

Ok, MAJOR speculation there, but I'm a real big believer in the multiverse. It just makes sense with string theory and all that stuff.

Kind of the basis of most religions. Just do what you can and leave the rest to God. But that doesn't work out for some. Muslims say "If Allah is willing", Christians say "Please Jesus", Jews say " G*d let it be done"

Everyone does the same thing, once again leading me to think God is an observer who made most religions just to see how humanity would unite.
 
If that's the stance I wouldn't worship the ****er anyway.

Basically, yea. What do you want. The greatest challenge for humanity is to overcome our differences and unite. Putting such a behemoth of a blockade called religion on us makes it incredibly hard to unite. And when we do, we will be an all powerful species, having come over all problems.


A part of me thinks that God rewards everyone a universe to rule their way after life. It's a big multiverse.

Well, God does seem to not care sometimes. I don't know, he usually sends a savior by now. And yea, if my theory is corrected, your 3 breasted amazons are on their way. I sure hope my imagination is correct. Seriously, if heaven is real, what else are you going to do in eternity?

Maybe he was saying that Christians were dumb shits in the past, and realized it, and begged forgiveness and did as Jesus would. While others do not. Not atheists, pretty much everyone on Earth.

Looking at the background, he was probably criticizing the Chinese government without actually saying it, as they hate religion, but are the fastest growing religious people. If the message reaches the oppressed Christians of China, it will give them hope.

Just another random though from my mind.

The Chinese Christians, along with most religions in China, are tortured. China lies and says they allow religious tolerance. Yea, SUUUUUURE. That's why they banned reincarnation for Buddhists (yes, I'm serious).

Its fitting because you know they won't actually see reason and they know fine your position and they know fine its fact, even if they publicly rant about God, in some inner fear of Death and the great beyond wooo, or they have other less philosophical and more selfish motives to fake belief in an imaginary friend in the sky.

But you reject reason that conflicts with your religious beliefs. Beliefs that are unreasonable by nature since a leap of faith has to be made in order to believe them in the first place.
