Post a screenshot!

I tried to play it today but was utterly bewildered by just about everything. They don't seem to have a tutorial of any kind that I can find.

I said there's a tutorial on their Wiki. It's linked right on the front page of the wiki. Did you try looking at all?

Overview shot of that Artic game (against real peoples). My company being Red obviously. Won the game too which is always nice.

I'm guessing that the point of the game is to suck the land dry of resources before your opponent?

Pretty impressive. I usually just play short games with a couple of Aussy guys.

The OCAU box is dedicated in a primus data centre. Admin is a bit loopy sometimes and could adjust a few network settings but otherwise a good place to play.

edit: When I pasted this in paint, it was already resized. How do I keep it the normal res?

Doesn't look resized to me. Paint will not automatically resize anything. What res is it supposed to be?

You probably just don't have the game running at your monitor's resolution.

I was just sorta testing stuff out in single player

1280x1024

So you're telling me that not only did Paint resize your image, it changed the aspect ratio? Well I know for a fact it didn't, because if it did, that circular minimap wouldn't be a perfect circle anymore, but it is.

Sounds to me like you're just running 1024x768 on your 1280x1024 monitor like a fool. Which not only is not the native res, it's the wrong aspect ratio. 1024x768 is 4:3, 1280x1024 is 5:4. If your monitor is 5:4, then that circular compass should look a bit irregular on your screen.

Looks like Pacific Assault.

It wasn't that bad at all, it was as good as a Medal of Honor game could be back in the day.
Certainly don't go into the game expecting a deep narrative and highly tactical combat or anything.
It was all about nonstop action in the Pacific theater of the war and in those regards I believe it succeeded valiantly... except for the absolutely atrocious multiplayer.

I especially loved the opening where you witness Pearl Harbor getting bombed and have to run around the docks and such, it was pretty epic.

Medal of Honor - Pacific Assault

Came out in like 2005. I remember the game had some of the best graphics I'd ever seen. Looks pretty bad now.

It has some fun parts, but yeah, it's not a very good game. Game was notorious for having those triggers where if you grab a mounted gun, it would spawn a ton of enemies.

Heh, cute.

You need to start tackling some more advanced track laying, and route that handle multiple trains.

Yes we do. And you guys need to tell me about them too. And we should use a simple password that we can all remember which is just to keep out the non hl2.net people.

When Viper, Veggies and I ever play a game, like Arma, we always use the password "hl2.net"

You should play on an Australian server SO YOU CAN FEEL MY FOREIGN 300 PING PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIN!

It's not that bad....that is unless it's not a dedicated boxen hosted somewhere decent. My ISPs routing sucks big time.

Did you make this game, Matthew? I've been wondering about that game you were working on a couple of years ago. Looked like it was going to be the kind of game I'd like.

making it right now. It's called Moonwalk, and is essentially Mario Galaxy in 2D.

Welcome to the world of cultists, demons, ghouls, invisible monsters, exploding cows, alien muppets, mafia wars, snakes, mad scientists, dinosaurs, time travel, and more! It's so bad it's good.

I don't get that Open TTD thing, I had 2 trains (one for passengers/mail and another for foods/oil) that ran through all of the towns on one map, but I still have almost 60,000 in debt. I make like 28 bucks per station that they stop at.

Also, my boats never seem to make it to the docks, they just float all over the damned ocean.

How the hell do I do this right?
