Post a screenshot!

I always wanted to play that game. Looks like those old point and click adventure type games.
That's because it is. :p

Nice graphics, still have to get round to playing the first one...

****ing love this mod.

God damn DM comp champion thing I only participated in UT and I won UT. Why Unholeee didn't thrash me I'll never know.

No prize either, I am disappointed. Came third in Flatout 2 comp (OMG) after stupidly choosing flatmobile for the final race and having every single person smack into me within the space of 10 seconds. Oh well Flatout has never gotten good prizes either. Mate of mine with a Div1 TF team slaughtered everyone and won a nice 24" monitor though so that was fun to watch. Trackmania was a let down per usual with terrible 30 second tracks that bore you to tears.

In case you're wondering wtf I am talking about got here: http://reloadedlan.org/

The server died at 93 frags (Event had too many network issues to count) so yeah. Grabbed the double damage for those last 7 kills and then bam server not responding.

NEED MORE UT COMPS GOD DAMN WHERE IS MY 5V5 CTF. My team of randoms would dominate :D

Sorry to inform you nobody cares about how you did in your scoreboard.

Good thing there is more content in my post than a scoreboard because that by itself would be fairly lame but it's in context of a DM tournament so all is well no? Honestly if you don't care then just ignore it. Going to the effort to respond to something you dislike is simply a waste of time and energy. Some people might care (I really don't care if people do or don't, I'm just posting content) and I take pride in the fact I'm semi good at UT and yet nobody plays the damn game at my local LAN.

Ha, I love this argument. The butthurt naivety always makes me laugh. First off, it probably took him all of 6 seconds to type that post. The effort and time spent on such a thing is insignificant. Especially since he was already browsing the forum. Its not like he he was cooking Chicken Parmesan and was like "OH SHIT I SOME HOW KNOW THAT KYORISU JUST POSTED A BRAG POST" and turned off the oven, put everything back in the fridge, booted up his PC, posted, and then started all over making his delicious Phicken Parm..

Secondly, it clearly wasn't a waste of time or effort, because he got a whiny response from you. Which is what his, so, so obvious intent was with that post.

Anyways, congrats. I dont know who Unholeee is, but if you're impressed then I am impressed. Now, if you'll forgive me, I gotta get back to my delicious Chicken Parm.

Yeah I'd consider that a waste of time. I don't tend to find half the crap I post around the internet that interesting or exciting and there are better fish to be baiting than me surely. I personally think he was just being a dick but that's me. Saying something is a waste of time is merely an observation I'm not saying he could be spending time doing something else he can do whatever the hell he wants just like anyone else but you have to ask yourself why? Then again I don't ask that question because I know the answer and have taken appropriate action by reducing my participation in pretty much every community online to merely posting a few things every now and then.

Ha, I love this argument. The butthurt naivety always makes me laugh.

The point was it wasn't just a screencap like you often see I actually explained what it was about. Often screencap posts have zero context and I'd agree no one cares about those. Did he need to post? No Did I need to respond? No. Does anyone truly care? Probably not. But we all had a fun time and can move on.

Unholeee is one of the pro Quake guys in Aus.

Played some MGS before my battery died too.

Maybe it's an "HD remake" such that you see on XBLA. In other words: the same game with a 2xsai filter. :p

Hell yes, probably my favourite multiplayer game ever.

What the hell they were thinking with UT3 I have no idea. I thought they had learned their lesson with the way everyone hated 2003, I thought they'd build on the success of 2004, but no, they made the exact same mistakes all over again.

Oh well. It joins nicely to this game, Serious Sam HD: Second Encounter. I've been playing playing it over the last week or so, and it's definitely the most fun I've had since the good ol' days of UT. Images resized for forum friendliness.

Haha, seeing those screens reminds me about how space is waaaay to colorful and lit up in Sins!

I've heard a lot about that Sins of the Solar Empire game. What is it?

Weren't you one of the people who bought it way back then? I remember Acepilot was one of them... there were a few others. I stopped playing for the longest time because I was so frustrated by a mulitiplayer aspect of it where you couldn't start relatively near your allies in large multi system games.

The game is a real time 4X strategy game. I obviously have all the interface elements turned off and cinematic mode on to take those screenshots.

That is game is god damned awesome even though it runs like absolute ASS as a match goes on and more and more ships and stuff get built.

I hated how the enemy AI would always ****ing run away whenever you brought an overwhelming force to attack them.
It was always something that happened instantly, like the SECOND you warped in.

Just started a playthrough of Fable: The Lost Chapters on pc. Game runs sooooo smooth compared to console. Looks a hell of a lot better too.

Can't wait for the third game, I know many people here dislike Fable, but I enjoy it.

It's simple, easy to drop in and out of, perfect for me when I'm bored of games that require me to read manuals and stuff.

That's another reason why I detest MMOs, people are able to get a quick and easy monetary advantage there too often via paying real money for in-game cash, even if it isn't allowed by the people who run the MMO, there's often ways to get it anyway.

Yeah, it is annoying, though APB requires you to have a certain rating or standing with a faction before you're able to purchase anything decent, so they're still made to work for it :p

Shakermaker said:
Yeh, I noticed that too.

How is APB anyway, Drackard?

Well, I personally enjoy it. Been playing it with a friend since release and apart from the matchmaking system being quite poor, it's been really fun to play. Hopefully it won't be long before they expand it and throw in a few new districts etc, to keep it fresh.

How the fudge do you find the time to play an MMO, Mass Effect 2 on the 360 and Bully on the PC at the same time by the way?

I have a hard enough time playing through just one game at a time.>_<

Drackard, you on Zombie or LaRocha?

Oh, you're British, so probably neither :p

I only work 4 x 12 hour shifts a week, then have 4 days off, so unless I've something planned, I tend to have a lot of free time! + I take my laptop into Work for Night shifts and just continue playing there :p

Though even with that much free time, I still have far too many games to start/finish. Trying to resist the urge to buy more until I've worked my way through them.

I have vacation and I still can barely maintain focus enough to play one game.:(

I'm gonna kill you and absorb your brain substance so I can have your focus, Drackard.:p

I wasn't, but now I wish I had. It looks fun.

I've been hitting AvP 3 again. Still ****ing love this game.

The only thing that put me off from that game was that you couldn't crouch as a Marine and you had to interact with vents as an Alien to enter them.

Suppose it's worth a try, though.

The crouching doesn't really become an issue until the final Marine mission when your fighting androids and could do with being able to take cover. It's not a massive issue though. I prefer the new vent system for the alien, it enables you to make an escape from quite a way away. It's not an issue in multiplayer as there are no vents in multi.

For some reason I have to be on speed to continuously play FPS games lately. This is probably indicative of having papers to do which I would finish and proceed to play time while still under the effects of Adderal. I can certainly enjoy without, but damn if I don't ever get tunneled in again like old times if such situations arrange themselves appropriately.
