Post counts

i like it, only now i see how much more everybody else posts than me :( i got some serious catchin up to do! MMmmmm Spam! lol jj, but yeah, i like it. Now i can see that promotion comin up! lol
 
The most I had posted on any other forums was about 300 while working on Neverwinter Nights modding... I'd say I've shattered that record... heh... and the damned thing isn't even out yet.

lol, I've been here since May, and come on everyday, and look at my post count... I'm just not a very talkative person. Or something

Ugh, I can't stand this blue. I hope it's changed soon

It's gonna take a while to get used to this new layout. The previous layout was better readable, IMO. All the avatars and usernames interfere with the text.

And one question: how do I upload a custom avatar? I don't see anything useful under the option "Edit Avatar". :rolling:

u should go over to the HL2.net news section and read whats been posted about the forum..

the color theme ur seeing now is not permanent.. its going to revert back to its original color theme once they have all the bugs figured out.
 
Yeah, sorry, I didn't check the news section yet. I always immediately head for off-topic. Apparently the ability to upload custom avatars will arrive shortly. :)
 
I can see the post count getting abused too, people are already saying, ive got a bigger one than yours (post count that is :dozey: ), but its nice to see mine again :)

lol it's funny how a thread about post counts is pretty much spam.

Personally I'm not so sure getting rid of the post counts in the first place really did anything, although I do tend to look at peoples post count before reading there post which is... hmmm
 
Leave them, i like to see how much better I am better i am compared to others based soley on my much I post :p No, really its not a big deal

Only by a month! So, let's say that.. I lose 300 posts for joining a month later, I STILL have nearly double your posts, which makes me the winner! :)

That's not really spam. Spam is making useless, random comments within a thread that just come from nowhere. Like if a thread was discussing Gordon's beard, and someone came in and went "Hmm, I like cheese", that would be considered spam.
