Thanks, that's perfect m8. My regional settings were screwed up so none of the fields were labelled (plus no explanatory text).

only the trial version of the character creator is out, full version in a few days ($10) and retail game itself later
 
look back at the 1st or 2nd page, there are links to the download on filefront, megaupload etc. I'm dling at the mo.

For some reason, it deleted my creation. :| Must have not saved it IDK. I did take a video though.

Yeah, it takes me long time to log in now, like a couple minutes, and my creatures disappeared, but I fixed it.

They're still in the folder, just not in the game. Exit out of the game, cut and paste your creatures to another folder (from C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\My Spore Creations\Creatures), load the game, then open an explorer window, and drag your creatures into the sporepedia, go to edit the creatures, and resave them (you have to modify them first) so they show back up under "my creations".

I also made a little modification on my D-Rex, and re-upped it to spore.com but apparently it doesn't replace the previous version, so now I have two slightly different creatures up.
 
The penis monsters make me facepalm. They really aren't funny or clever.
 
It's really awazing what you can make, and to think any kind of guy you make humanoid or not can become space fairing beings. That's sooooooooooo cool.

Too bad my shitty pile of shit comp is shitty. I can't even play I i'm so pissed. My computer is like a pile of burning garbage wrapped in a soiled diaper. :devil::devil::devil:
 
So once you turn it skinny, is there no way to make it fat again than recreating your monster?

Well, I was originally making a sort of gecko, but I accidentally put its mouth on the bottom of its head, and I was like "hmm, that kind of looks like spiderman", so I went with it.

My dad actually saw me playing and I told him to hop on and he made a crazy two headed guy who hopped around on a suction cup, he enjoyed it a lot. I have a feeling this game is going to be HUGELY successful, and just what PC gaming needs.
 
Oh crap, it turns out EA have found out about the leak and have blocked all accounts or something. So um, has this happened to anyone? I haven't played it yet, so I'm not sure right now.

EDIT: Okay, I read it again and supposedly you can't access the online features until the 17th. I need clarification on whether you actually need to register in order to play the game.

No. There's an offline mode, which I've been using all along.

+ if you're low enough to the ground, his stiff upper arm roid-muscles would not allow him to reach you without bending to far down and toppling over (or his smaller lower arms too for that matter)
