Pretty over this shit now

When will they stop >.<

Errr.. never. You're living on a fault zone.
Hopefully after all this there will be many more buildings designed to withstand these quakes and people will stop dieing.

I'm glad you're safe, morgs. This is kind of unbelievable, so many earthquakes in such a short period of time. Maybe it's a sign? Like, "Christianity will rock your world".

I would shit my pants in an earthquake. We get hurricanes and tornadoes here though so I guess it's all a trade off.

Earthquakes aren't bad, though they can be scary. Waiting on the big'n here. Should be soon.

"... speaking as a pilot."

Glad you're alright, you guys really can't catch a break. :(

I suppose one of the few plus sides of living in the UK is that we don't seem to get many natural disasters compared to the rest of the world.

We've had a few Earthquakes in my time but they've all been pretty tame. At worst a few cracks in buildings / chimney stacks falling off rooves.

Hope everything's not too bad where you are.

there was a 7.1 last september, a 6.2 in feb that killed nearly 200 people, a few 5-6's between now and then and now these two.

It'll stop when the radioactivity of the earth subsides enough to let the core solidify (or at least the mantle) then we probably end up like Mars.

You should probably get used to it, Christchurch lies directly on a fault line. But that's good that you made it out alright.

Someone died from their injuries in hospital today :( Still a few people quite badly injured.

7350 quakes and counting

Jesus. I can't imagine being in a worse place during an quake.

Well, on second thought, yes I can. But I would definitely not want to be in a hardware store, regardless.

Another biggie a few minutes ago...in fact...yep, there's another one now!
