I don't know whether I should take this seriously or not. :|

disturbed have you played doom 3 singleplayer?? you can tell ID played half-life and said " we need to incorporate things from this into our next game ".

it's not hard to notice they tried to add storyline and plot to the game rather just run and gun like the original doom games. interacting with the bartender and other soldiers, people talking to you via radio. and so on.

this prey game looks awesome i like how you can fly the shuttle. and the weapons are very cool. i especially like the longbow.

Have you play the original doom for that matter? I mean, its real easy to tell the storyline is close to the same as Doom3. Just because it has some similiar features doesn't mean they got it from HL.

HL's story wasn't very original either.

The ole "experiment gone awry, battle through hordes of monsters, save the day" formula has been used in almost every FPS out today.

yes i have played the original doom disturbed thats why i noticed there is a big difference between that and doom 3. in the original doom games you do not talk to any friendly NPC's. half-life was the first FPS that i know of where you adventure across the game encountering friendly NPC's and interacting with them. areas of the game where there is non-combat situations. the little robot that guides you around places. these are all things that were not included with any ID game before half-life. Storyline has nothing to do with what i am talking about. i said ELEMENTS of half-life were brought into doom 3. THINK ABOUT IT.
