I can't wait to see how "amazing" these games are in comparison to the 360 considering they will use mostly 1 of the 7 cores for the first couple years. Yeh know, its not smoke, its true, read up.
Ouch do you want to write program code that makes the processor read code from 7 sources simultaneously perfectly syncronized? What a headache. Its not easy and sometimes hard as hell to program with conventional methods that we've been using since computers existed.

So the games for the PS3 system will be using about 14% of its maximum processing output using 1 core
while 360 is using 33% of its maximum processing output using 1 core.
This is just a simple estimate so take what you want from it
Read up on some credible computer geek sites and you will see them going ape-shit over the 360 and merely stating that the PS3 sounds powerful.
