I never really took a close look at this game, but it looks Grand! Like BF2 & BF2142 mixed together with a gritty feel and better environment. Anyone got a release date on this papa?
 
It is what BF2 was supposed to be. This is the game I'm waiting for this new year.
 
Its like a mix of a RTS game and large scale FPS. The graphics look amazing. At first I didn't think so, then I realized how much more foilage and objects there are in between.....everything.
Where as BF2/2142 is barren.
 
The release is March, Q1 of 2007.

It looks seriously awesome, I just hope it isn't a let down. I trust Splash Damage greatly.
 
It's my most anticipated game of '07 next to Spore.
 
HL2.net needs another game we can all play together.
I wonder if Spore will have a chat system.
 
Yes. RT! Once you get to space you can go to other peoples planets and make them asplode. Seems a bit unfair.

Spore wasn't multiplayer last I checked, it's singleplayer but somehow it downloads creatures and buildings etc. online.
 
Surely you can't just destroy a whole players planet after they have spent days making it?

Is it like, the data from players is used to create surroundings but it isn't actually live?
 
....It is singleplayer UNTIL you get to the space age.

Or rather: It takes lots and ltos and lots lots lots lots of time to get the destructo-beam. I mean, thats like getting number 1 on the starcraft leaderboard. Only easier.
 
I cant wait. Never really liked BF2 2142 games. This looks amazing tho.
 
I like BF2 & 2142 (Cept those damn overpowered jets) but this looks just grand.

I'm sure you RTS types would love being a commander too. This gonna be like Savage?

No you didn't miss anything that or we both did. I remember them saying there was gonna be a beta very soon. There was also a site that said check back Monday for big beta news but then it kinda just disappeared? Also I know FP is gonna have an exclusive on the beta as well.

Yeah I had that as a favourite for about 3 weeks... they took it down :(

Its way way way better than enemy territory. They screwed ET up- I was mad. Hopefully Quake wars will be better- It is looking promising so far...

I liked enemy territory it was just different enough that I could play both games in equal measure ..as for wolf I played exclusively with one of the shrub mods that gave engineers trip mines etc ..so to me vanilla wolfenstein was great but the mods made it awesome ..ET was just an extension of that.
 
I want:
  1. Crysis
  2. ET:QW
  3. Spore
  4. HL2: Episode 2
  5. Left 4 Dead
ET:QW is very good. First off you get get mechs and missiles just like in Titan mode. You also get jetpacks. You also have a goal and mission to play other than, "KK let's point whore so we can get higher in rank!! ^_^" I'm very happy to hear Spore is multi though. I can just imagine the possibilites of living, breathing galaxies just like Star Wars. :bounce:
 
Same exact list for me, cept replace spore with ut2007
