Dude, Quake Wars does not have a release date. In recent interviews the developers still say: "When its done". The game might come out next year for all we know. June is just what people think.

Why is it such a surprise to alot of people that a multiplayer only game's sequel won't have SP? :|

There is no single player campaign, but the game will have multiplayer with bots so you can play alone.

afaik besides the "MEGATEXTURE" technology they're using there isnt a lot of next-gen stuff in the game so i dont think it will require any additional upgrades.

I had that game. I loved kicking in doors. I was disappointed because I didn't know that it was only multi-player. That was before I had a computer. I bought it for Xbox. My brother really liked it.


I don't know why, but I just can't get into the multi-player games lately.

I think they are too complicated for me. The maps, duties - like reviving people, asking for ammo, calling in air strikes, etc. It's just not my thing. I don't like games that have 5 different types of grenades. Just throw something that blows up damn it.

I like the 'every man for himself' frag-fest multi-player for the most kills. Fun as shit, and addictive!

I guess they still have this option don't they? it's hard to find a server for these games anymore in my experience.

Those tutorial videos they released last fall were a HUGE tease that everybody thought meant there was a demo coming for sure...and here we are like 8 months later with a closed beta privy to only a few clans and other insiders.
