It was determined to not be a requirement.

And this was not too long after the death of Jesus either, so it's hard to make the claim that it was distorted and twisted countless times through the centuries following. It was instead decided as some of the key interpreters around the same time Jesus lived.

As much pleasure as you feel during teh sex, it feels a whole lot better not being circ'd, as the foreskin actually plays a part. I'm too lazy to look up the info backing that up, but if anyone wants to then go ahead, its definetley out there. Read back through the thread, and you'll see studies done that indicate improvements or disappointments after the circumcision process.

As for your 'wiff'... why would it be uncomfortable? You're pulling on the foreskin, so of course it is going to be uncomfortable. That is not indicative of what a circumcised person feels. I can't feel my penis when it is not being stimulated, and so it is not uncomfortable.

Circumcision for reasons of ritual should be banned. As should faith schools.

what right do you have over what other people do with their lives?




circumcision should be banned unless it's voluntary (adults only ...what guy would willlingly have a scalpel/pinking shears/box cutter/pencil sharperner so close to their johnson?) ...and even then they have to write a paper explaining how mutiilating themselves makes them a more spiritual person ...and they have to have a convincing argument none of this sheeple nonsense "because god told me to do it"

That's not the issue. The issue is, what right do parents have to send their kids to indoctrination camps that fill them full of utter bullshit?
Worse still is that these schools are state-funded.
 
I thought the issue was circumcision.

And they have every right to, It's the parents job to raise their kids properly, for some, religion plays a huge part in that.

Exactly. I was circumcised as a child, and I have no problem with that. If I want to do so to my child, I should have all the right in the world to.
